Why is that no one can pick up a phone and call anymore if there is an issue.

First off, Drew's car has transmission electronic issues. His issue has nothing to do with clutches.

Second, how is SSP supposed to be able to tell how long the transmission lines are supposed to be when the cooler mounting position keeps getting moved?? We have offered to send the lines and fittings, but never have received anything. I can go on and on...

Joseph I would recommend closing the communication gap between everyone involved. Alex and I cannot read minds. If you have an issue in the future Joseph, pick up the phone and call. Most people do not read the forums on a daily basis.

    Completely true.

Alex said he called you earlier. I haven't called as I just don't want to get in the middle of anything and get this wrapped up. Just relayed what I saw.

Kris, the forum is my business this is where I communicate most often. I'll call you and we will get the lines and fittings resolved. I was not told you offered to send them.

Probably best for us to just communicate directly, I appreciate the post.

Drew ended up having to buy a brand new transmission due to electrical issues inside of the transmission. The dealer could not even fix the issue without replacing it.

It was the coding in his tranny itself that was causing an issue so the best bet was to swap for another stock one, the dealer couldnt even code it.

Damn, a hunk of expensive metal is scrapped now because of some computer coding?

yeah it sounded like a headache and a half - first they thought it was a sensor, etc... but after all was said and done BMW wasnt even able to code it with the stock clutches in so they had to replace the tranny.

How could the dealer not even do it? Why wouldn't they replace the trans then?
