I know the owner of 180 custom, they specialize in headlight customization, I'm sure if you contact them directly it might be a little cheaper.

Kid owns g35nyc.com and starting modding on g headlights before he moved onto this, great work none the less but i would never ever in my life pay 3k for customizing my headlights

I thought this was all done by MAC, 180 is doing the headlight work here?

    False.

The company that did these headlights is called 180 custom, they are based out of Brooklyn, NY. The owners name is Igor. If you're ever on g35driver.com or myg37.com, you can find a bunch of people that have had their headlights modified by 180 custom

Good stuff folgrz, good stuff. I wonder what the cost would be direct? Either way, thanks for the info.

Im not sure what the cost would be directly but I'm sure you could avoid the MAC tax.

Not sure how many people would be interested but it wouldn't hurt, especially depending on the pricing.

FWIW I also know the owner of 180 - he's also the owner of G35NYC.com...he did 2 headlight jobs for me when I had my G35...very talented kid...pricing was much more reasonable for the G headlights though...I can't imagine spending $3K on headlights...under any circumstance.

To put it in perspective, just the headlights are $1,000 Each. I think you can get them for about $850 each if you dig around, but still for whatever reason these things aren't cheap.

damn, they are sick but $3k?

I've done headlights a few times and there really isn't much to it.
These are amazing but way overboard.

I wonder how much it would be to DIY with all the parts (LED rings, matte paint, etc). I'm sure it would require hella talent, but I've seen people retro-fit projectors all the time and the results are stunning, not to mention the savings.

Damn, I wish I had money to throw away on these.

Most of the cost comes from the LCI turn signal upgrade.

True, but once you subtract out the $1500 it looks better.

Thanks for feedback guys. The main reason why the MAC edition headlights are dough is because the turn signal is retrofitted out of a 2011+ E90 3-Series. So on top of the 10+hrs of labor that goes into making those turn signals fit and flow with the lines of the E92 headlights, we also need to cover the cost of the headlights we need to purchase for the turn signals in the first place, whether they're broken, used, or new, people still want a lot of money for them because they're from a new car.

We're looking into replicating the turn signals so they can be affordable for everyone. If you add up the cost of the rings, minor paint work, it's a small fraction of the MAC edition headlights. The attention to detail that went into these lights is second to none, close to 50 hours in them !

We're looking to get into the E90 market now, but they're far more difficult to open and seal than the E92 headlights.

    Thanks,
    Igor
