Yes, absolutely. Thank you for reminding me, what we need is the cast manifold from HPF and we can do this.

When shipping is arranged we will arrange the shop and dyno with the HPF owner.

    Current customer.

Chris is expressing concerns about the boost:

He has fears. Exactly run them at the same psi.

He's scared because he knows his manifold isn't on the same level. I agree with GG, same boost apples to apples. We all know what the dyno is going to say anyway...

I was just trying to figure out why boost would be a concern. The boost would be the same for both, more than one map.

The turbo boost should be the same even if we swap them, right? Will the wastegate opening be an issue?

It's because a restrictive manifold will decrease hp. He is probably wanting to raise the boost in order to counteract the loss.

He didn't say anything like that. I think he is just concerned about it being a fair test.

Will changing the manifolds change the maps though? Turbo is still doing the same thing it was told to do, right?

I'm not tuning expert, but I think it could. Different manifolds create different spool-up characteristics, so I guess maps would be different for each manifold. The thing is, a decrease in spool created by a certain manifold can be manipulated by increasing timing.

One manifold might reduce pressure but shouldn't all the boost logs reflect this anyway?

It shouldn't be impossible to compare these manifolds.

You are wrong on this dude. This topic is about which manifold is the better manifold. Also when the test would be done. Everyone was having a good convo until troll showed up.
