Terry can you tell me what year is the test car you use and the year of LM's car?

Used our 2008 135i, LM I think is a 2007. The pump flow tested above is brand new.

That's good, the reason I am asking is I know there is a difference between the 07 DME and the 08s.

Whould different DMEs have different results?

Only if for some reason your AFR is going lean. But I've made 440rw+ without issues there.

I remember reading some info on Kenne Bell's website last year where they warn against exceeding 8psi of boost on an LS3 engine if voltage drops below a certain number. I'm not certain what that number was, but I think it was 13.5V.

Would anyone mind explaining the relevancy of this warning? What is the issue with voltage and increasing boost?

    Just trying to learn.

I'm out of the loop on LS3 fueling limitations. Best to consult an LS3 expert for setup and use with one.

I understand. And my question was likely confusing.

I'm just trying to better understand why you are doing the testing that you are doing? With the N54, what are the issues with boost and voltage?

If it's 12 inches long, vibrates, and is black, it isn't for you... or maybe it is.

Boosting fuel pump voltage isn't very new stuff Sticky. Kenne Bell has been doing it for a while.

Terry I got a question though, what is the HPFP doing during this BAP voltage spike? Is it handling the extra flow?

I'm just surprised the temperamental pump can handle it.

Hoping by keeping low pressure from dropping below target we'll then be preventing high pressure from dropping below target.
