Since I finally finished my GMAT today, got my apps in and all, I have some free time. Other than looking for a job, i'll be seeing what games I can play during the summer Click here to enlarge

Shift 2 looks nice but driving is terrible.

I am pretty involved in iRacing - got my Class C license a couple weeks ago.

As far as games, I play Battlefield BC2 and Crysis 2 right now. Just got done Portal 2 a couple weeks ago. Also playing Metro 2033.

So, I just started playing DA2. Not as good as the first one IMO, but still awesome.

Way different. Its a simulator more than a "game". You are scored by corners. If you join a race you have two things to keep in mind, safety rating and irating. Irating is like your "skill" while SR is how safe you are. Going off the track, making contact with cars, cutting corners, speeding in pits, etc., all hurt SR and keep you from getting promoted to the next license. Its more involved than Forza/GT - a lot more realistic in fact many people train on it before going to the track. Check this video

I like running into other cars in games, I would never get promoted.

Ok, I just found out about this. I'm sure I'm late to the part or whatever but there is basically an open source version of Quake III Arena called OpenArena. It's awesome, tons of fun and its free. You can play multiplayer or solo with bots, whatever you want. Download it here if you like: http://openarena.ws/download.php?view.2

Just bought Unreal Tournament 3, yes, I know, I'm living in the past.

It was only $20 on Steam so I said what the hell. Probably going to get Crysis or Crysis 2 next, likely Witcher 2 as well.

    Anyone else?

You guys should get the Logitech G25 for racing games, you won't be disappointed.

Been playing League of Legends lately, it's free and pretty fun and simple.

Get Heroes of Newerth - basically a port of Dota with better graphics, granted it is $30 (sometimes they have it on sale for $10) alot more fun, less kids (since it isn't free). I have a free trial for a few days if you want to try.

Been playing alot of Team Fortress 2 lately. Tried Brink, it's is ok. It's a great idea, but the execution is lacking. If they can polish and fix the engine bugs with the sequel, it'll be a great game. Looking forward to F.E.A.R. 3 in June.

^TF2 is loads of fun, especially with friends. Slower than Unreal Tournament, but still faster than typical FPS.

Team Fortress 2 is awesome. I think it's one of the best multiplayer FPS's out there.
