What PC games are you playing? PC gaming thread

So now that I got my new computer, wondering what games to pickup.

I downloaded Civ V on Steam and it's good, but somehow just isn't as amazing as it once was. I think maybe I'm getting old. Either that, or I need some different games to play.

So, what are you playing or do you recommend?

The game is ok. Graphics are beautifull.
Half the time I.just use it to practice the Nordschleife with a stock.135i Click here to enlarge
I' m.still find it hard to tweak the steerimg wheel to my liking. For some.reason it is difficult in this game to get it right.

there's quite a few good games out:
    Dead Space
    Team fortress 2
    portal 1,2
    Dragon Age 2
    Mass Effect 1,2
    Total war: Shogun 2
    Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

It all depends on what type of games you're into to.

I got Portal for free with Steam I guess or with my computer, not sure, but I need a gamepad of some sort.

Downloaded the demo for Shogun 2, looking forward to it.

I wish Diablo III was out already.

I tried a Microsoft wheel for Xbox, it really sucked, after that i've never tried anything else.

Finished playing portal 2 last week - was amazing. Definitely recommended! Graphics are half-life 2 graphics but gameplay phenomenal. Just wish they had a better story line.

I'm just starting on Portal 1.

They are puzzle games, no really story line. I hate forced story lines anyway.

Playing the Bioshock series right now, very slowly though, I dont have as much time as before. Still on the first one lol...bought it like 3 years ago. I just recently stopped playing MMOs and that's what was taking my whole time. Trying to get back to playing normal games (anything but MMOs). I'll probably be buying Dragon Age 2 soon, I loved the first one.

I bought Bioshock, played it for a few hours. Amazing game, but I just don't have the time to get immersed in games like that anymore. They suck way too much time but games like Bioshock remind you just how good gaming has become.

Yeah, when I first played the Total War series, I was hoping it was like an age of empires....it's Civilization + Age of Empires....

The battle portion is awesome. Just hard to master it seems like. I don't have the patience for that any longer.

Bad Company 2, you need to get it. Screw cod because it sucks in every way. Beat Portal 2 not to long ago, pretty fun. Mostly just waiting for the new stuff to come out at the end of the year, TESV:Skyrim, GW2, ME3, BF3. Did install CSS last night, did horrible haha, now that's a true game of skill.

I don't want a game that makes me poop my pants.

Actually, I just realize, with my laptop I can play while sitting on the toilet so no problem at all.

Haha I waas actually looking for those servers, but never could find them :/.

Yeah, I really liiked FEAR definitely a crazy game.

If you guys really want to play a horror game, play Amnesia: Darkest Descent. Seriously this is by far the psychological horrifying game I've seen. Haven't even played it, just watch other people play it. Theirs no guns or weapons it's more of the searching and exploring. Me and some friends get to gether and take turns playing it haha. Seriosuly, check it out.
