Eurocharged sets M5 standing mile record - 170.4 MPH

Eurocharged set the standing mile record for the BMW M5 and S85 with a run of 170.4 mile per hour. The mod list for the car is as follows: custom Eurocharged tune, Eurocharged pulley, agency power headers, Eisenmann race exhaust, custom mid section, RPI scoops, RPI oil cooler, and filters. They are going to add nitrous to the car next and go for some even bigger numbers. Check out the video below.

You are thinking top speed, not standing mile. This is speed over a set distance.

Just wanted to clarify, there are some times in Europe at one of the Russian events that have a higher speed through the mile.

However, this MPH seems to be the highest for an M5 in the mile in the USA unless someone can prove otherwise.

It would be interesting to see their cars on the quarter mile with a decent pair of Mickey Thompsons.

    Car mods :
Dinan Flash, Dinan intake, Evo Sport Pulley, SS headers, SS X-pipe, Eisenmann Race exhaust, screwed TCU, shaved 260lbs from car by removing rear seats and passenger seat, custom light weight front seat and no A/C compressor, light weight battery.
i can't remember quite well, i believe my 1/4 time was so bad, around 13 since tires were not in good shape but after 3rd gear tires were hooking good.
it was done on a military airport 970m above sea level and all the times was verified by military stuff, so you can be sure the numbers are accurate.

Didn't see that part of your question, the test was done by military and their stuff.
they didn't say what it is, it was like a Vbox but it was much bigger, they said the percentage of it's error is 1 kph in 500 kph.
