Hope those shopping carts stayed away from it. (unlike the poor Volvo!)

Don't think I'd be brave enough to park a new 1M in such close vicinity to that store .. I'd be miles out, like I am with my current car!

They certainly are funky cars, I saw one for myself at the recent Calgary auto show and it looked wild.

The interior is not really my cup of tea though .. I like the "perfect-for-me" size & layout of the 3-series.

I always thought the 1 series was ugly...the pic showing the front only furthers this.

    Rear: sexy as fuhhhhhhh

Front: Why can't they get rid of the ugly headlights?

Yeah, Imagine that thing with 550+whp. How does this handle around a track compared to an M3?

i believe it handles better , with less weight and shorter wheelbase it should handle better.

For the ones looking for a test drive, the car is not in showrooms yet nor are they available for test drive.
The small production number of this vehicle most likely will prevent you from getting a test drive and be able to order.

What, so how the hell are you supposed to know if the car is any good before you buy it... Listen to what everyone has to say about it witch is totally mixed reviews of people hating that it is n54. This makes no sense in my opinion. Why would anyone trust what a dealer tells them about the car and not be able to see for them self?

Unfortunately that's basically what we're forced to do. Most dealers are only getting allocations for a few cars, some smaller dealers getting only one or two for the entire year; couple this with the fact that the US version will only be available for this year (no 2012 model) means it would be difficult to find one that isn't already spoken for, hence no test drives.
