It's a lot of power for the street that's for sure. Do any of these shops have problems with the police? TX2K seems to be a huge event and the street footage I have seen could get people in jail...

Yes I do but as I said, in french trainée and coefficient de trainée were often reffered to as being the same thing where as drag coefficient was reffered to as résistence de...

This exactly. It can be demonstrated pretty easily in a physics lab too.
03-05-2014, 07:01 PM
That's what I meant. I did all my physics classes in french, both were the same in my head.

LOL I got a neg rep for that. Someone must not be good in math.
Don't you see that the formula says that drag increases proportionnaly with speed squared?
03-05-2014, 06:46 PM
One thing is sure though, the drag coefficient increases proportionaly with the speed squared.

They must not take speed in consideration or take it at 1 m/s. They must just calculate the frontal area, the fluid density is the same for everyone (it's just air), same for the Reynolds number.

Experience is everything in this trade. At school, you basically learn how to learn. I've been there, I've done that. I have been working at a BMW motorrad shop for 5 years (summer job).

Well I better go back to studying then. March break FTW.
I'm taking biochemistry, which is more like the effects of alcohol on the body. Sadly, not too many threads about that on here...

Cool! Let us know if it blows again.

Do you have to be a physics major to understand why the abbreviation for drag coefficient is Cd?

But even if you do have control, if you have say $80K in unused credit, there is still a possibility that you buy a bunch of $#@! and fill up your cards. The banks can see this as a risk and not...

It is heavier than the regular version though, even with the stripped interior.

Got it, thanks.

Why would having too much available credit affect you negatively?
03-04-2014, 08:45 PM
I was approved for a $10K limit increase. I should have done this earlier.

In other words it's perfect for you :)
Whiskey and wine also work :rofl2:
What do you drive?

When you say you have 11 credit cards, do you mean say 1 Elite MasterCard, 1 AIR MILES MasterCard, 1 World MasterCard and so on or 1 MasterCard, 1 Visa, 1 Amex and so on?
03-04-2014, 05:20 PM
I just checked and I can increase my limits online (I have a Visa and a Mastercard). I'll see how much I can get.

I've never thought that making a large purchase with a credit card was a good deal. The interest in usually from 12% to 19% so any thing I had to get financed, I just got a loan for it for much less...
