I saw some spark blowout or misfiring in the 335i. Might wanna look into that. Looks like a strong car.
MS is great for these engines. The maf will be eliminated, as I would just use the MS map sensor for speed-density tuning. The MS can support maf tuning, but I would just stay with the map on this...

Incredible fabrication work. I love the manifold especially. Smart move on the individual cylinder O2 monitoring! I would love for you to share any data logs once the car is running to show variation...

What are the biggest differences between the N54 and this new S55 motor?

Excellent manifold fabrication. Love the design as well. Im surprised you didn't choose a twin-scroll design. Do you have any pics of the completed manifold? where are you incorporating the...
I can tell you from personal experience that the majority of your time invested in this project will feel like you're simply lost floating in outer space, with no one to provide any type of real...

You know, I completely forgot to mention this, but we utilized Loch Ness Monster saliva as a fuel additive on these runs. I knew something didn't add up...

My names Eric. Here is a $#@!ty photo of one of his dyno sheets. Completely stock, untouched. But like I said, it's not really a big deal to me. Just sharing for whatever it's worth.

I said in my post they were both dynojets. Two different dyno jets, on 3 different days. 300+whp each time. Don't care to argue with you or anyone else though. Doesn't matter to me... Carry on.
Ok. Have fun. I dont think you have any idea what you're getting into.
Even though this seems logical, it also seems incredibly painful. If I were you, I'd run that motor on as little inputs and outputs as necessary. Megasquirt is a awesome platform that is now only...

Yea you're wrong on this one. We had a completely stock, untouched E46 M3 make exactly 300whp, and 301whp, corrected, on two different dyno jets, on two different days.

I wish I could've seen this thing rip at MIR. High-five for breaking records, Mike.

I agree that that's too low of an engagement point. Nitrous creates real, instantaneous increases in torque. 2500-3000 rpm would be a more ideal rpm, unless it was a huge shot.
I sprayed my E39 M5...

I would think there would be no benefit whatsoever of choosing a twin scroll mani unless you were just planning to go twin scroll turbo in the future.

I agree with that. I still don't see race gas alone increasing power output without any other changes tho.

Race gas naturally retards the peak cylinder pressure event. It burns slower and more controlled. Therefore adding race gas to a car that is tuned for 93 will in theory make less power.

based upon the HP/Torque ratio, im assuming you're running something else than a version of the M50.
Seems like "Big Six" torque numbers...

I was somewhat surprised as well at how well the motor responded to a little more boost. Going to get it dialed in at a little over 600whp for now. I have another motor on a stand that will...
M50/52 + S50/52: Few More PSI, +80whp!
Just wanted to share an update on my Turbo M52b28 car. Baseline numbers were right at 500/420 on 19psi.
Last night we did some pulls on 21-22psi. Next time on the dyno I will bump it up a little...

i know what you mean. Already looking at fuel system upgrade to run more boost.

93 octane pump gas.

E36 is a stock bottom end 2.8, 6266 turbo, makes 500whp.
S2k is built motor, 6266, on 110.
Evo is built motor, gt3586r, on E85.
More to come soon!
