Too much headache. You would need to run gas e85, gas, or wd40 through them periodically to keep them alive

Ethanol should not be mixed with leaded gases. Additives in the leaded gas to ge that octane rating are by volume. Adding ethanol will bring the % by volume down. Total octane would probably still be...

This. Ours will be out soon if you want to retail ;)
These theories are disproven with straight PI and carburetor engines. Both have fuel sitting behind a closed valve, then rushes in when opened. The best FI engine run very large injectors and phase...

Proefi was no where near this. Apples to oranges. The car runs and drives. The n54 injector just carries a large current draw so they are fixing the GDI driver to handle it. This is probably why jake...

Wasn't trying to knock. The numbers just came across to me as a good concept that just needs some tweaking to meet the needs of the "next fuel system" solution.

what are the dimensions on that tank?
01-29-2016, 07:50 PM
8 seconds is based on what 3 450's will flow @ 85psi.
Only making 1000hp on ethanol you should get a solid 13 secs of full power demand. (assuming that tank holds .375gal of fuel)

Hate to burst your bubble, but the stock pump will only fill the surge tank at .019gal/sec with zero head pressure. I'm sure the capacity of that tank is no more that .375gals so you will have...

What is your real name or email?
Good part and good price. Thumbs up

No one has put an apples to apples single on a car to directly compare to hybrid spool. The big hybrid numbers are at the max of the turbine housing, turbine wheel, compressor wheel or all 3. If you...
A shared gate is actually a very good thing in manifold design. It acts as an equalizer of back pressure in the manifold. If you were to log two completely divided banks you'd be amazed the variance....

I'd have to look it up. I think .68

I would love to know the 100 things a jb4 can do over a haltech. All I see are gauge manipulation and steering wheel controls. Am I missing something?
01-19-2016, 12:00 PM
I'll let you try the haltech and if I can't fix your spool I'll return it and eat my words.

He is ST. Pte 6262 T4

You finally find a good solenoid jyamona@motiv?

Hybrids that spool that fast arent going to make much power, so a single that could make the same power would do it.
What do 650hp hybrids spool at?
01-19-2016, 11:16 AM
What's BS about the Haltech? It's works awesome on ST cars.
01-19-2016, 11:13 AM
There is no dme boost control for ST.
I tuned it and it has a standard electric boost controller. Go set your wgdc to a fixed percentage and let me know how it spools.
If you do a new battery without coding it the lpfp prime can be spotty.
01-18-2016, 06:20 PM
Your spool is related to your boost control. That controlled just trims to hold a target boost. Between a real pid boost controller and some vanos tuning you can get 20psi by 3500 or better....

A properly sized single of the same power capabilities of a set of twins will spool the same if not faster. Comparing hybrid turbos over spun doesnt count. Thats not apple to apples

We make an undivided t4 bottom mount that can be fitted with a qsv on a divided turbine housing. Ive never ran smaller than a 6262 on our kit with dyno spool around 3500 for 20psi. A small 6062 with...
