AMG ETR, sorry to hear about your situation. My car is at HPF right now for 2.5 and some other things. I have nothing but good things to say about them thus far. I really hope whatever issues you had...

So, where can I find out more on this PROEFI setup? Does this completely do away with meth? Or does it just do a better job at controlling it? Sorry if this has been covered but my internet sucks too...

Yeah, that's mine, thanks for the complements. I can't wait to see it finished. I think the black anodized intercooler is going to look nice.

Your car is a BEAST!... You going to be driving it down to Mfest from HPF? That's what I'll be doing. Make sure my baby is doing ok when your there, lol. Ask to see my #4 piston....

UPDATE!

Cyl #4 had a "melted piston"... Still waiting on flux to tell if the block is good, should be. Here are some pics of the block, pistons, and head. Motor is going to the machine shop ASAP...

Today is Wednesday.... You all know what that means. HPF Update day! I'll post the update and pics as soon as I get it.

You never know man. We still have 8ish weeks before Mfest..... It's possible if everything goes ahead of or right on schedule it COULD be done.

I used Angels... They had it picked up in 3 days and delivered in another 4..... I was impressed.

UPDATE!!! The car arrived at HPF yesterday morning. Upon arrival it was detailed and pictures were taken. To my understanding, the motor, trans, diff and sub frame should all be out of the car...

Sorry if this has been covered already of if it's a stupid question but... On the topic of mixing the two types of tires being a bad idea. That would not apply to say a drag radial like the NT05r,...
