There are plenty of domestics that can do 11.9x on 112-114mph, but the 1/8 mile needs to be close to 7.6-7.7 ET @ 88-89mph and usually a 60' of 1.6x-1.7x.

115mph is exactly what you need to run 11.9x, so long as you can do a 1.7x or less 60' and have fast shifting :)

Raced a ZL1 last week at the 1/8 mile track, only did 88mph to my 92mph, pretty great DA of ~500ft.

I'm right there with you, Corvette just isn't DD material to me, but I want one anyway because they have so much raw power on tap when you really start working on them. Still a TT Z06 ought to scare...
