holy $#@!, for once I'm thankful for having APR in the VAG scene with their questionably high prices and "better than thou" attitude.
sometimes, it just makes sense to do tuning and development in...

I may pull 3 in a row. A little too late though :/
Not sure if any other famous people have, but googling CGT deaths and excluding Paul walker results, there are quite a few.
Sucks to hear. He seemed like a good dude, rarely ever bad press on him, truly into cars, and did a $#@! load of charity work.
I may just have to go get a tuna on white -- no crust, tomorrow.

please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't BW being produced in China now-a-days?
Also, i know of quite a few EFRs that didn't even last 6 months on non-limit-pushing tunes.
Garrett is still...

I'm sure they'll sell quick.

First game day having a tv in my living room that I don't have to wear my glasses to see AND Rice finally scored a touchdown.
Just need the giants to pull out a win and it'll be a good day.

Removed seats and their wheel/tire combo went from 46lbs to 36lbs.
Definitely nice numbers, especially with using cats and stock intake (used aftermarket panel filter though)

just go GTI. handling isn't AS good, but it'll make for a much more comfortable/better quality DD. The ST has more off the showroom horsepower, but at the end of the day it runs the same turbo as the...

How did you do against this?
thing was trapping mid to high 140s in the roll event. Pretty impressive for a stock engine 2.5l 5cyl. Props to RSWorx and APR.
Also pulled a 132.2 in the quarter.

firstly, just to clarify, I wasn't challenging your knowledge on the subject, was honestly unsure of your experience with these engines. I apologize if my initial post came off as such.
longevity and reliability for what?
your clean driving record?

847awhp out of a 1.8l engine. That's....that's just insane, especially since you built it in your garage, props to you.

cannot speak to this pipe or engine
however, people with the Stock Turbo on the TSI engine have dynoed up to 10whp higher by replacing this pipe.
The current pipe on the TSI engine is referred to...

I'd hate to admit it, but yeah.
tony, you constantly $#@! about people (such as LM, which is why you block him) running your threads off course and that's exactly what you are doing right now....
11-05-2013, 11:53 AM
just use the BMS watermark. BMS is a vendor here and it is their car. can't see an issue with that.

would be a fun street toy.
hell, I wouldn't mind a built and stroked 2.7 to 3.0L on e85.

That VR6, what a $#@!ing engine.
11-04-2013, 01:03 PM
oh i'm fine. just 2 weeks where half my team was on a bye. i'll hopefully come out firing on all 4 cylinders next week.
11-04-2013, 12:31 PM
it was basically a TE shoot out.

Not sure what your history is but have you worked with the Bosch MED17 ECU that comes in the TSI before? Every person who I know that's tuned them all says it's one of the most complicated ECUs they...
