Lol, yeah, was def referring to an E60...somehow totally missed the F10 description-doh! And agreed...the F10's are beasts even stock, but they heat soak pretty quickly.
Meh, on my buddy's dyno (Frank Smith), they typically put down anywhere between 400-425ish WHP (stock). I've seen some tuned examples w/typical bolt-ons put down well over 450WHP though. TTFS just...
Congrats on the new digs guys! I really need to get down there...it's been waaaay too long!

Yup, awesome build! I hope to make similar HP (not torque) w/my new cylinder head on a stock bottem end. I believe that this is engine is in Robert Chang's car, here's a quick dyno vid:

Hey Sticky, no, not yet...but it is an Eddy Current dyno (similiar to a Mustang Dyno);therefore, the load can be 'varied' and can be made to 'approximate' Dynojet numbers. Frank purchased this dyno...

Sounds awesome Andrew, always nice to have other remote tuning options for the BMW market, and I like the fact that it's not VIN specific too.
Ahh, that's pretty kool man, Finland-huh!? Well, keep up the good work over there, & post up some pics of some other cars if you get time!
Sounds good! This is your friend's car-right? Did you perform the motor/assembly work? Where are you located? Also, not sure if you are aware, but these things can be remotely tuned now...and it's...

Sorry guys, been busy for a while and some family health issues to deal with, but getting back to normal now.
The strut brace came from a buddy up in Canada, not sure where he sourced it...
Kool vid! Have you guys done any dyno work yet, I didn't see any numbers mentioned anywhere...curious to see how a turbo VANOS delete car compares (down low) against the current crop of turdbro cars...
Sounds good so far man, and I like your attitude about building a functional, fun, reliable car. I too have a ported head/cam car & it is absolutely possible to have both! Still in for dyno results.
