I was told by a person here that they were running the Wedge 15 degree flash on a FBO 93oct car and the guy's words were "seems stable". He also told me he was sending datalogs across too
I'm in Birmingham, West Mids. Look in the downloads section, and choose one depending on your mods.
I have a BT cable here in the UK but someone is borrowing it at the moment if you're willing to wait. I can't help with the flashing though as I'm using Cobb.

$400 by air (call it $300, I'll cover $100 of it for you) or $200 by sea to any US airport if that's any good to you. Based on a 160kg weight and normal pallet size (120cmx80cmx80cm). Air takes a...

I had a V1 and I've got a V2 now. Absolutely love them. This thread has reminded me to order the e-brake handle now too.

Would you be interested in the rest of the motor? For $300 extra I could give you everything else I have. The engine was removed due to the aux belt being sucked in through the crank seal. Motor was...

I've still got it but I've not had a chance to remove it from the block as of yet. Are you in a rush or willing to wait a couple of weeks?

Could you try putting it into 3rd/4th first and then reverse?
I have the same problem with first and and reverse gear. Reading around on the net it seems a common problem on other manual bmws...

Drive the riced Honda. Did it for 2 weeks a year or two ago and wasn't that bad.

I'm getting some decent progress on transferring all the parts on to my new engine and just realised I forgot to make a note of how the vac lines and boost solenoids were connected up. Looking at...

Happened to me too :(
Mine was slightly different though, caused by alternator...

74ft-lb? That sounds rather low, I can't remember but I'm sure it was around 150 as I was worried about having to tighten it up so much as I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it up that much....

You need a much longer bar, something like a scaffolding bar. I put mine on a 4 post lift and wedged the bar on the lift and turned the starter over. Then with the same bar and a 1.5 metre jack...

Cheers buddy. Once you consider the shipping from the UK you can see that I'm not making much at all. These prices are just for the BB community, if I have to put it on e90post (hope I don't have to)...

Oops forgot to add I've also got a full n54 OEM oil cooler kit. That includes the filter housing, BMS thermostat delete or OEM thermostat, oil lines and cooler with brackets. You just need the arch...

For Sale: N54 Cylinder head - perfect for VAC upgrade also other engine parts available + Torque converter
Thought I might as well offer my cylinder head up on here as I'm stripping my old engine down. The motor had just ticked over 90k and the valves were cleaned about 7-8k before that. The whole motor...

About a month or so IIRC.
I'm a bit miffed as I wanted to sell them as the wastegates aren't bad on them even compared next to my RBs.
I have a spare engine sitting here so LMK if you need...

Funnily enough I removed the front turbo on my new engine yesterday so I can put my RBs on and it was full of oil also. I'm talking full to the brim and even leaking out the inlet tube. The car was...

Thanks sammy. The tranny has already been removed on my new engine and the TQ converter was left on the flex plate. I haven't looked under the engine but I'm guessing there is a hole in the sump to...

Have you removed the torque converter yet? I'm struggling to see how to remove it without a special tool

Thanks bud :handgestures-thumb:
Same hope with the turbos too, even if they are scrap I'm sure they will be worth something to someone looking to do Vargas/RBs without the downtime or payment...

Much less common, everyone here drives diesels and only the ethusiasts are interested in tuning n54s/s65s. Once I've sorted everything out I'll have a check how much shipping is. I doubt anyone in...

Firstly the alternator pulley sheared off and then the belt came off and shredded outer few ribs. In the short space of time (less than a hundred metres) that it took me to pull my car up onto my...
