I talked to splitsecond on the phone and they will ship any of their AIC's with the map signal, 5v, and ground out of the box unterminated to be used with an external map sensor. NO CHARGE. Values in...

10AN will not fit. Due to the shape of the valve cover a 10AN was too large of diameter.
8AN is better than nothing, which is how much it vents stock;)

Looks like I need to clear up some confusion...
Let start with the stock configuration. The valve cover has one vent that runs to the rear turbo inlet pipe. Also referred to the flapper valve, it...

Correct. the fitting in the picture replaces the pcv valve and plastic cap. When installed the fitting blocks off the port to the intake manifold, leaving you a direct vent from crankcase to...

Correct. I am also making a fitting that replaces the flapper vent and hose (just don't have a picture). It clips on just like the flapper vent does and has a male 10AN bung at the end. Running both...

Fittings are rolling as we speak. These are very rough prototypes, but you get the idea. These replace the stock pcv in the valve cover and completely seals off the intake manifold port and lets...

Cracked valve cover... look at #6 coil valley... probably full of oil.

Dry sump was not legal for class, but to be honest I dont think it would have much benefit. With a few vc vents and a 12an bung on the side of the block was enoung to vent enough blowby to prevent...

Years of crankcase ventilation configurations on wetsump cars with lots of blowby. Only way you're gonna pull a vacuum is if you dont make any power.

He wanted a gauge on each side of the vc fitting to verify the outlet on the vc is the restriction, not the occ.

There should be an 1/8npt pipe plugs in the bottom of your catch can.

Pulling a vacuum is not going to happen. If thats what youre shooting for be prepared for frustration.
A vent off the block would be ideal

It will be offered as a separate kit eventually. Its just for my own testing right now. The sandwich plate and injectors are really a mechanical no-brainer, its all the other components and...

It is our own PI kit

Only graph I had on my phone. This was the first 6262 kit with a stock cobb stage2 sport map no changes made. Not an impressive power number, but it highlights the spools characteristics well.

Just to be clear, this pcv valve is inline between the valve cover and rear turbo intake pipe?
01-10-2015, 02:04 AM
The catch can is not the restriction, the vent on the valve cover is... the air cant get out fast enough. Put a gauge on the can and compare it to the gauge on the crankcase.
01-09-2015, 03:19 AM
You "noticed positive crankcase pressure"? You had a gauge or sensor monitoring the crankcase pressure?
How does the oil catch can get blamed for what is clearly an inadequate vent for the...

techmaster05, a stock twin n54 on ethanol is a better "turbo kit" than a stock twin n54 on 91oct? Thats essentially what you're saying when you turn a blind eye to the extra boost and octane used to...

Man tony, you bump my product to the top more than I do... you have a crush on me? ;)

This is not true. Cant tell if you're being sarcastic.
The goal is to not have positive pressure... ideally a vacuum would be nice, but its not going to happen with high cylinder pressures and...
