I don't think so because they should be greased up from new. When you open the DVs to change the spring you should see red grease inside them.

I rebuilt my Forge DVs with new internals and greased them up and the noise went.

I think Dzenno or Enrita had these coils on their cars. As far as the rumble is concerned, me and a few other believe that it is caused by the DMF. What flywheel and clutch setup do you have?
