DCI is filters plus a small coupler tube, which replaces the stock airbox. Aftermarket inlets replace the hard plastic tubes that wrap around the engine from the airbox to the turbos. DCI install is...

Hm need some clarification on what you're feeling at part throttle, does it feel like it's pulsating or is it like a slingshot feeling when you get on the gas? Which map are you running, the linear...

Looks like the WGDC base is too high, need to dial that down to avoid the boost overshoots. On your surge log you can see that from the WGDC base vs WGDC after PID, and req boost vs boost mean.
Specs for everything on an...

That setup will be fine for performance, are you completely deleting the muffler as well? 1792 is the 2.5" resonator though, do you mean 1794?
The 1792 resonator will help with rasp but you might...

lmao peasants, get outta our way!
I used one of these:
and more or less ripped the old inlet out, it's going in the trash either way.
Another thing that made it easier was remove the downpipe bracket that's bolted to...
I tried doing that but it doesn't appear the DME references the main fueling table when the gas pedal is released all the way. I get an initial pop/burble coming off the gas but afr immediately goes...
Lol my bad, here's a quick walk through, assuming NCS Expert is already setup and ready to go. If not, follow the tutorial Sered posted to get it configured.
Pulling fuse/unplugging module is self...

Wow impressive stuff, thanks for the updates! Quite the beer stash you've got there
Pull the fuse for TPMS if you don't have navi, or unplug the tpms module if you do.
Edit the VO and remove $2VB, then do FA_Write to CAS and FRM/NRFM.
Reset DSC, CAPPL/CIC and KOMBI by running...
Thanks! Been looking for a walk through exactly like this.
Thanks! There's a bung on the rear inlet, made from a 1" section of 3/4" tubing. Can't really see it in the pics but it's tucked back by the windshield washer fluid tube.
Nope the trunks are shaped slightly different, the E88 trunk is flatter with corners curved differently.
You might be able to make one of the urethane ones work, but for CF your best bet is the...

Since it's full standalone, couldn't you just move the O2 sensor to post turbo?
Stock DME forcing use of two divorced preturbo O2's doesn't seem applicable anymore, since the stock DME is removed...
I think it's an issue with Chrome, opens ok with IE
Those runs look really lean, 13.5-14+:1 at peak boost :o doesn't dip below 13:1 until around 5k.
The factory exhaust is pretty quiet even with the valve open, I think most people just force it open all the time ala the golf tee mod.
Aftermarket exhausts typically delete the valve all...
No prob, here's what I used :
2x 2" OD 90 degree mandrel bent elbows - you can get 2x 45 degree elbows in lieu of one of the 90's but it's 6 bucks a 90 or $6/ea for the 45s.
1x 2" OD straight...
Could be VCG but that's also right next to the oil cap. Has any oil ever been spilled during an oil change?
Appreciate the feedback guys! Next up will be a 1-off full exhaust :)
lol the more the merrier? not that I'll be selling any.
lmao I had to google what that was. Fortunately there's...
Finally getting with the times and welded some inlets for my car, figured I share :awesome:
Will probably wrap them in gold foil or something eventually.
Specs : 2" dia 16g SS304, K&N RU-5111...

lol one of these :
works well, just gotta watch out for surrounding lines. The plastic is surprisingly thick.
Here's the angle to get the nut driver on the turbo snout clamp :

Just did inlets on my car, ended up cutting the stock front inlet for removal. Pulled the intercooler, radiator fan, coolant reservoir, and vacuum canisters first. There was no way for the front...
