VERY interesting seeing differences in the TO motor (335is). I really wish there was some documentation out there that outlined all the differences. I wonder if the 2013+ N54's kept that or if there...
I know pobudz built motor is almost done being broken in. It sounds excellent and runs well.
So, it's not that people disappear I don't think. It's moreso that if you are dropping a lot of money...
I also have a CP-E Intercooler. Forgot to mention. (performance wise) :P When I am back around August 15th I will post a bunch of info + pictures.
I am waiting to see how Steed's setup turns out...
I've been messing with my car, doing what I can, trying different tuning solutions for a long time now. There is constant tweaking. At first, it was fun. Going through the process, learning a lot of...

@pobudz kept his cover. It doesn't function anymore. But it's there, being a cover. I'd do the same.
Interesting. So it doesn't need to be machined to a new specification as others have indicated?
I've not run into this issue. But I am always messing with things and periodically the coils come out, and that might keep them from melting on. Same thing if you leave your windshield wipers down in...

Why wouldn't a heat shield work to protect your mount if it was an issue?

Dunno if the threads are the same. Haven't bothered trying to find more detailed specs yet. S55 bolt looks to be a bit longer as well.

Apparently rktunes is working with ARP on getting a man-sized bolt made. Should fix it.
"Jordan Horowitz Finally someone gets it. The bolt has been the issue.... bolt grade /...

Time for that 35is bumper cover. :)
It didn't seem any different than my other flash. But, I have exhaust mods, so. There's that.

Do we get to find out or is it top secret g-14 classified?

Also, I do remember reading about the closed block, but I couldn't remember where I read it, and I was too lazy to look it up. Hence why I posed it as a question.

the N55 is technically the N54TU (technical update)
The N55 T0 engine is a further development of that, based on what they are saying, but it seems to be unconfirmed if the block is the same or...

What's wrong with tapping something on each ITB and doing a kind of vacuum manifold?
