On the gear ratios 3.42 @ 6900rpm is something like 150mph in 3rd and 200mph in 4th. If they are breaking apart I'd say it makes sense but gears seem durable at least so far. As long as it has half...

No worries. Any reason to even change the rear end is staying IRS? It's not like we're breaking gear sets. 3.42s would match up with a 1:1 3rd and .75:1 4th from a 4l80e nicely.

I think 700whp is within grasp on currently modified OEM trims which are more aggressive than the original RB turbos we all used to run years ago. And we'll definitely be switching our E92 over at...

Yes we have their intake manifold heading our way soon. Will throw it on our 135i and dyno test it when we can. :)

It's definitely a lot less expensive. Seems like every high hp car I race winds up needing expensive transmission upgrades shortly after!

What was the correction factor on the 670whp dyno? And has it been run on another independent dynojet machine? ~670whp seems like a real reach for unmodified RB turbos that were previously limited to...

I'm thinking if the calculated torque values are actually having an effect on type4 bog, which I sort of doubt, but if they are, we can think of a more clever way to improve the issue I think.

It changes it on a flash only map too! The DME references the load to torque look up, afr to torque look up, torque decay by RPM, etc, etc, to determine its boost set point for any given load target....

I pulled them from the S55 since they didn't help that issue and will throw them in the 135i next. The 135i has legit misfire issues over 30psi. So hopefully they help there. :)

Those with a JB4, make sure you're looking at DME BT in your logs. If it's dropping below 10psi, you're creating some potential unsafe tuning conditions!

Sell the Cobb and buy a used jb4, n20 tmap sensor, and load a free bb back end flash map. That will set you up for 500whp and put money in your pocket. :)
