I disagree. While this is a great (and compelling) price point, you'll still need to buy your turbo, wastegates, chargepipe, related post-turbine plumbing (offered at a great price point by OP), and...
Well, the most prudent thing to do would be to edit your WGDC table based upon the boost setpoint factor and MAF req shown here: EDIT: Look at this plot:...
In addition to what spxxx said, if you're experiencing throttle closure the two primary tables to look at are "Threshold (Major Throttle Closure)" and "Throttle Angle Aggression in Overload." Do a...

That was my guess as well as I was reading through this thread. 1) Stratified (lean) burn, 2) Stoichiometric (homogenous) mode, and 3) Heavy-load (rich) stoichiometric mode.
Repped and email sent--the more we each share our knowledge the better!

I'm in with adapters. Thanks Rob!
Awesome Tony! Rep for the update and following through on recirc inlets. The heater hose is an unexpected bonus for us in the tundra.
Damn, I live in Madison as well and am from Missouri but can't make it (besides, I'm still running on stockers with a f'ed rear wastegate bushing). Sounds like a fun outing!

Adding my name...
Awesome results, thank you for posting them. I'm quite interested in your next batch that may have an option for DVs. I know...I know, but I hate BOVs and love my sleeper.
Any further information...

Admittedly, MFactory doesn't have the "best" customer service (they're a bit scattered across the globe and don't appear to have anyone dedicated to customer relations), but I've had two very...
When I was in school I remember modeling a motor using Matlab Simulink, but that's crazy expensive for a piece of software...prolly $10-15k/seat.

Congratulations, I'm looking forward to the install and results.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Motiv has produced one well-designed product. Repped for the detailed photos.

Good general information, but some corrections and clarifications need to be made (sorry, I'm an anal-retentive engineer):
- Mach number is not a very good indication of when turbulence will...
Wow, this thread isn't $#@!ing around. Hells yes.
Looking forward to seeing the finished setup--repped.
Agreed. Did you happen to scope the signal T? If the false knock is only happening at certain frequencies I think one would be better off tuning out the unwanted frequencies with a L-C notch filter...

Update: Didn't have enough time to pull a log on cold start this a.m. in the snow. I currently have a value of 11.3 in the 0/0.00 cell in the Fuel (Min Cat Protection Mode) table and the start in...

I'll change it back to 14.7 this evening and log a cold start tomorrow morning. Unfortunately with the temperature as low as it is I don't trust flashing the DME without a good battery charger--even...

It's odd to say the least--starts at 15:1 @ t=8s, starts climbing to an odd event at t=20s, then it settles to 14.7:1 @ t=30s...all the while in Fuel Mode 4.

Interesting; I pulled this datalog at lunch to see what fuel mode the N54 is in at startup. I'm sure this is nothing new to some, but new to me.
The DME seems to step through Fuel Mode 2 for...

Sounds like I need to investigate this table a bit further. My impression was that it is only active under Fuel Mode 6 events...luckily Cobb will log the fuel mode. Has anybody logged fuel mode...

Is that your 3D Fuel Scalar table? If so, how did you get the extended resolution of an extra significant digit? (Mine only goes to 1.XX)

Good call, I need to look into one of those. This is the first time I've had to park outside in these conditions (I miss my 2.5 car garage!!!) and some lifestyle adjustments are necessary.

Thanks BuraQ, implemented this last night. While my cold start in 7*F temps this am wasn't perfect, it was substantially smoother than the start I had yesterday in 13*F...

Cold weather has officially set in up here in the Great White North, which is giving my car fits on cold starts with E85 blends. Following off of SAE research presented in 2009-01-0620, approximately...
