Since it is a trend on this platform to tune via wgdc in order to controll the majority of overeshoots, you may have overly aggressive wgdc and PID's or it could be some sort...

Dyno Log - 607 AWHP / 618 AWTQ BMW 335xi
02-03-2015, 07:50 PM
From a DME flash tune only perspective, yes
02-03-2015, 03:31 PM
Correction, as for us, we did not need 100% E85 and or meth to hit 600+ . The 600+ awhp/awtq car only had an inline pump, stock fuel system, runing E60-E70, no meth, with not one misfire.
There are couple of ways
Try reducing the BLM table or that is to say the Boost Limit Multiplier located under the "Limits Tables" folder in ATR, but will have to also drop Load target dependong...

Thats fine I can take the hit for this one. Its ok for Tony and his side kicks to stampede our posts and nobody say shnit to them. However when I finally decide to kick back giving him a taste of...

Ok my bad then, the OP's car*
Wait a sec, you have full knowledge of the conditions of the car but yet you didnt play it "safe" "safe" "safe" "safe" to put new coils and plugs on the car...

The interesting thing is........
We never experience any misfires on our dyno
We were only running E60-E70
We only had a 255 inline pump
Stock Fuel System
One dyno session / 1 revision map

I wouldnt exactly call that short shifting....but I do understand where this is coming from, and the asnwer is, there is no garranty as it differs from car to car with IJE0S. Can I resolve most of...
01-29-2015, 01:10 PM
Yes, its part of it, not all. Btw, the 600+ awhp 335xi 6AT that I tuned has IJE0S, you can send him a request to see his 528/555 logs of all his gears and what timing looks like, he will send it you.
01-29-2015, 01:06 PM
Oh, not just boost, but being able to precisely and accurately hit targets and reduce timing corrections. Did you miss that part ? I have yet for you to post some example logs of your..... PID tuning...
01-29-2015, 12:59 PM
Ah, very good point. Anyone that raises or decreases values of an entire table in PID is not PID tuning. For example. The early OTS maps of COBB suffered from oscillations. To remedy this they...

I meet a lot of guys in my personal field who say they have a degree in xyz even up to masters degree even coming straight off MS school, but when the job is put in front of them to calibrate and...

I'm not disagreeing with anything said here, but I need to clearup a misunderstanding. People think we plotted some marketing schime to pull off what we did and dragged a customer into this while...
01-28-2015, 05:41 PM
Terry, the intention for providing an unlocked map is for the customer to see what we are doing and for them to have the freedom to make their own adjustments. It was not intended for public...

Because you didnt pay for it, thats why.
01-28-2015, 05:28 PM
...and after finding this out from Dzenno we decided to put our money back into our pockets and told our COBB PROtuner shops who wanted to sponsor us for ATP, never mind, and we got something else...

If they did that then guess what , its their money.
01-28-2015, 04:01 PM
What I am saying is Terry will chew the fish and spit out the bones. This doesnt degrade him as business mentor as a tuner and developer, its just being smart to improve a product.
If you think...
01-28-2015, 03:19 PM
huh, what , wait ? Wasnt it you and Terry the two N54 pioneer queens always use to shout "You need to get it on a dyno" ? When xyz dyno wasnt good enough, everyone was screaming foul cause it wasnt...

Huh ? Click on the image, it expands unless your on a cryphone oops I meant an iPhone. Ive tested IE, Chrome, and Safari on desktop and they work fine.

I was long done with this scenerio. This entire thread was spawned from a customer's desire to take a red map. Only 3 cars have ever taken a red map from us out of the 100+ cars I have tuned world...

Just to elaborate, the XI did a 11.3 @ 122 mph and dynoed on the same track map at 470 awhp / 509 awtq. After I retuned him with the TFT inlets he got 528 awhp / 555 awtq within the TMAP sensor range...

Terry, again, throttle safety is not disabled, it is relaxed. PTF also relaxes the TC from acting aggressive for post shift overshoots as a technique to help guide it back to the SP gently rather...
