I guess, if you have one hydrolock, or put so much fuel in the crank case it dilutes the oil.
I have an engine farm full of rod bearing'nd N54's. I've replaced 2 engines in the last 6 months for it.
Overheating it badly.
Driving it hard on cold oil.
Lack of oil...

You need a set of S54 throttles to play with?
I have a set if you do.

We've done a few. You need to wire in the brake and clutch switches along with some other things. It's not a huge pain, but its a very tedious job getting everything done well and cleanly.

no, the cranks are definitely stroked. We try to minimize bore diameter to keep cylinder wall strength.

It's true. They were about 160 bucks for the longest- then all of a sudden went to 500 bucks.
I cant believe how many of them I've tossed out thinking "I'm putting new ones in on every engine"...

I've taken an S55 pump and put it in an N54 block. It'll work.
The problem is, the design of the pumps will still run into limitations. The N54 style pump (rotary) vs the S55 style (plunger) will...

We have a G-power CS M6 at the shop- it's in for some issues with electronics at the moment.... It's "interesting" to say the least. Has a built engine and 1001 horsepower.

It's really not needed. If you HAD to do something to it, de-pin it and run some heat resistant shrink tubing on it, and (not sure why because everything lands where it needs to plug in) numeric id...
