Thanks, I'm fairly happy with the handling and braking, and it probably has enough power for the chassis. But you know how it is, you always want more.
LPFP might make more sense, the car cranks...
I know someone local who has gone through two of the latest revision HPFPs, three total.
What did they do to make them more reliable?
Genuinely curious as mine...
Speaking of HPFP, looks like mine died.
I was on track and the car just cut out and wouldn't restart.
Got it off track and found HPFP codes and got it towed home.
Do they usually show any...
Like Tony says fuel is not the issue, I have an upgraded LPFP and my HPFP never drops below 10 at any time on e50.
It is something in the tuning.
It doesn't happen in Chrome, but it does in Firefox.
What boost level is map7?
There is no guide for what the maps change to when you install the N20 sensor.
I'm still on e50. I'm just going to go back to the normal flash, run map 5 (19 down to...
This is my only car, I can run it at low boost but what's the fun in that.
Next car I am getting something already fast enough or something more commonly modified so I can just give it to a workshop...

Yep there a 335i in Perth that has them, he also has RBs, Port injection, widebody kit, line locks etc. He's pushing for 10s.
So it's not all good, it's like 95% good.
Still getting the random misfires every so often above 20 psi, maybe one time in 20.
Guess I'll just turn it down when I need it to be consistent, i.e on...

DCT won't let me drop third then get on the brake :(
My next car will be manual.

IS-F sounds good but it's not that fast.
I raced and beat one over 800m with a stock turbo N55 135i on pump.
DCT is standard down here, manual would be a special order.
I don't think there is a single manual F80 for sale in the country right now.
I have a bottle stopper that comes with a little pump to suck all the air out the bottle.
Similar to this...

So you're saying put the turbos just after the front wheels?

Is there a way to make so pics don't show up like this?
I cbf sideways scrolling.
I want to but not likely to have time in the immediate future.
At this point the alternative is to stay on low boost so I'm willing to try it.
If mine goes pop then we will find out if it was a bad idea.
I'm generally not shy with pushing it so it should be a...
Yeah it definitely looks like lean is the key. This is as lean as Terry felt comfortable going, and I'm not sure he was that comfortable but I asked for it.
But so far so good.
So after saying that I of course gradually pushed it further.
I was still getting a small high boost, high rpm misifre, so Terry sent me a tweaked backend flash and the car finally seems to be...

Using italics for sarcasm works well on other forums I use.

I had switched to logging in via boostaddict which solved the problem.
Switched back to Germanboost to test and all seems to be working now.
I don't street race and there is only one runway event a year here but I have been to half a dozen track days since I got my VTT stage 2 installed. Tuning has been the issue with really cranking it...
Why don't you help people get their fact straight instead of sounding like a petulant child.
So a N55 in a F series car that has a 4" outlet has a bigger compressor wheel than any other N55?
I also remember the 4" outlet making a significant difference on stock turbo, you would assume the same would apply to a larger turbo.
Either way always excited to see results from both turbo...
