I feel like you all forgot how prone to heatsoak the new M5 is. It has been shown that its a problem with the M5, therefore races involving an F10 M5 are circumstantial, and the results may vary.

You raise a good point with the warranty period. Once they sell a car, its sold. The only thing that could impact their bottom line at this point (as it pertains to that car) is warranty services.

I always wonder about the person who designed the software to try and prevent aftermarket tuning. How does he feel when he sees that a company can bypass it so easily?
