The way the backend flash disables the monitor all together, it won't even test. You'd have to edit the backend flash in tuner pro, you would have to be set from "00" to "56" for both Cat 1 and Cat 2...

After trying #8606084 on the 135i the owner of the 135i complained of MPG issues. Not sure if I'm gonna try 8606082 or get him back to stock... thoughts?

I read off of a friends car ZB# 8606084 I tested it on a 135i and worked a+. _ink, you can use the Alpina B3 flash DIY just use ZB # 8606084 in GS40 instead of 7615835 in GKE215.

I know how to get the assembly number from winkfp and INPA. I just don't have a Z4 to get the UIF from. I was trying to look through FindECU with a Z4 VIN I have and couldn't find it.

I would recommend to use HxD as a hex editor.
The vin is stored as ANSI text in two places and separately. As the first 10 and the last 7.
