Gen2 pte wheels make some serious power. Need to get ahold of the new 6870 for one of your cars ;)

These are class turbos. If the rules allowed a bigger inducer we'd be all over it. Some of the best knowledge comes from not being able to take the easy way out ( ie just slapping a bigger turbo on).

We went 179mph in a 2485lb (withdriver) fwd civic with a pte 7280. Its clear to see modern 67's make 900+ wheel, is it so unbelievably for a modern 72mm to make over 1000whp?

Rwd 4g63 talon w/ 4speed ppg dogbox. 2285 without driver. Best of 177mph iirc

So which is it? 103 can make 1000whp, then 3posts it can't?!

What is this small configuration you speak of? Super99 is only offered in one comp cover.

It was on a 4g63.
I know someone with a super99. Now Im curious if it will fit on my bottom mount... Might have to call him to let me borrow it ;)

Ive seen a super99 make over a 1000hp with a buick t3, then run 171mph in the 1/4mi. Just sayin'

Did I miss the part where he said he was on the stock tmap or is this an assumption?
11-15-2014, 12:15 AM
Is this a stock turbo thing? I hold 18psi+ to redline with just atr no problem.

I dont know it all, but i know what ive personally done. If someone states that you have to have a t6 and put a downpipe out the hood to make 1000hp I'm gonna say something.
Yes, I have only made...

The 6870 in the picture is a H cover. It is available in a S cover so the 6870 is exactly the same size as a 6466. Nice try
Only kits on the market that will have trouble breaking a 1000whp are...

I like loc-tite, but you know you're not "screwing into aluminum" right? Flywheel is steel.

They are 6mm right? 24-26ftlb is way too much. This is the only twin disk Ive seen with 6mm pp bolts. I wonder why so small? Should be 8mm @22ftlb and problem solved.

The spec 3+ for dmfw are a joke compared to the spec 3+ with smfw. Our 135 6262 car has a 3+ with solid steel and that clutch feels great. Firm pedal and clamps nicely. The 3+ with dmfw was super...

So is it safe to assume that physical limitations of the cam gear will not allow v2v or p2v?
.381" valve lift?! What a joke.

Would like to start a discussion on cam tuning improvements on upgraded twins, singles, intake, exhaust, etc. What have people tried ans what have been the results?
Would also like to know if...

Im using the 10328's. So far so good. Havent put many miles of leaning on them to know if theyre any better or not.

I "OFFER" the kit both ways (as already stated). I had a customer already buy a kit and his car started bone stock (as already stated). Are you seriously getting down on me for offering a complete...

I will stop arguing. The point I was trying to make was the n54 has all the specs of an engine that would be happy at 9k without having to lighten or destroke it. There are many engines with bigger...

Tony, what does your kit cost with an intercooler, piping, chargepipe, and bov?
If you want to compare apples to apples I stated in post #7 that my kit is $6900 for the hotside kit. A ball...

By your analogy, a V-twin should have a higher revving potential than a i4 crotch rocket. It does not.
I guess I'm not explaining it right.
