Synthetic oil clearly but one with the highest flash point you can find. I have used Castrol 5W30 and BMW 5W30 but going to Mobil 1 0W40 with hopes of reducing the carbon build up.

Cool Carbon pads are excellent.
One down side of of all these ceramic pads is that the initial cold bite is never as good as BMWs stock pad. Other than that they exceed the stock pad in everyway...

Just for the record E36 and E46 water pumps are the same and are some of the biggest pieces of crap out there. Metal impellor then phenolic impellor than modifed phenolic impellers.

The whole point of this if you drive a 335 is to not damage the turbo seals with excessively high oil pressure. Once warmed up you will be fine so just not running to redline until warm is a good...

If you warm your turbos up that means getting them to operating temperature before boosting them hard. It will save your turbo seals as the oil pressure can exceed normal pressures and blow them out....
