Just got a call from the dealer. It is the "back up pressure sensor", whatever that is. No other details, just that it would cost $361 to replace.
Is it just my car, or are all BMW's crap once...

Drove in manual mode today, so I can keep the RPM low (low turbo pressure in the system) for about a mile and I got the limp mode and engine malfunction message again.

Got my car back today, two weeks later.
Short story: EGR valve replaced, EGR cooler replaced, Large turbo replaced (twice :think: )
it is a true two turbo set up.

50k mi here or roughly 80Km and going through some deep cleaning of the engine right now.
The dealer had to replace the EGR valve and both turbos.
The DPF was actually clean.

Sounds a bit strange.
The diesel and gas kit are almost identical. The diesel kit was developed a year ago (on my car). Did you talk to Kevin at CX racing?

The guys at CX racing did it all. Piping, connectors and intercooler core. There is an area where there is a sensor inside a pipe where it couldn't be removed. See the pictures and description.

I have no insight in what they can do or how the do it.
But if you have some sort of software update on your car I think it is better to let them know. 30 ponies less is better than no extra ponies...

So far I haven't noticed any difference in the transmission's behavior. Seems just like before.
