Thanks for the info. Do you have 1/4 mile times and/or trap speeds ?
Thanks for the links. Narrowed it down to either Renntech or Dinan for warranty issues. My local dealer has taken really good care of me with the Dinan software.
Wish i could see a dyno graph of...
S63/S63TU: 2012 X5M S63 available tunes
I got rid of my 12 N63 X5 50 and picked up a loaded 12 X5M and looking for tuning options.
The X5 and my 550ix were both Dinan Stage 2's but see they only offer stage I for the S63.

I'm on Dinan Stage II best 1/4 of 12.47 and would like to try this out.
If I flash does it revert back to the Dinan if removed?

Can you post the info on how to buy ? I'm on Dinan Stage II best 1/4 of 12.47 and would like to try this out.

My thoughts exactly, with the swapping of the run flats. I have picked up 2mph in other cars, but for whatever reason and ran 6-8 times was the opposite in the X5.
Don't know if I'll have it back...
Yes, on a mustang dyno and awd. Both which take a considerable amount of hp. Crank hp/tq is what Dinan claims or more.
My Gtr on the same dyno puts down 597/600 and on a dyno jet put down 11%...

There really is a lack of solutions out in the marketplace for modding. I was hoping Cobb would have ha something out by now, but unfortunately not.
The springs probably would make a great deal...
Yes the 550 is more difficult to dyno and roll into based on the full throttle switch on the floor. They didn't have the same problem with the x5.
Therr te maybe more in it, but not on that day...
Dinan stage II here and very happy with it.
It it is extremely heavy and falls flat after third gear IMO, but that's physics and aerodynamics.
I have ave dyno graphs floating around here as...

Worth mentioning, I had the car installed with the DS2 new and it was 50hp/tq low from the initial dyno from the x5. I had the Dinan reinstalled and it had a comm error. Most likely never fully...

Have you had the car on the dyno? My charts are floating around with a stock ix DS2. I dyno'd both n63 (X5 and 550ix) on a very conservative dyno at STM on back to back days.
Better yet, have you...
Just noticed the other car trapping in the 112's swapped his run flats. Good for atleast 1.5mph pretty sure as the PSS's are typically 8-10 lbs less a tire.
They were 14 lbs lighter on my GTR in...

I'd like to see the 1/8 and what it picked up in the back half mph.
The 1.9 isn't to impressive for a short.
Does this include roll-out?

Now I think about it part of the problem is the mixed thread.
My car didn't put 403whp it did 386 on a mustang dyno (430-440whp dynometer).
I still don't know how these got crossed.

Not to split hairs or sound crass, but a comma or a semi-colon would help to separate your statements. Reading and re-reading has nothing to do with it.
Nothing amazing about it. It's basic...
Every track is different - the NY track is typically 2-3mph slower than the ones I go to in MD/PA with my other cars. This car hasn't seen any other track. Works been crazy and I've been spending too...

Typically in a 3500lb car - every 10 hp is equivalent to 1 tenth and every 100lbs is also a tenth.
So if a car is 1,000 lbs heavier than a 3,500lb car it will be 1 full second slower.

Not mine (DROPTOPP) or the one who posted dyno and time slips.
mine is stock with a dinan stage II tune only.

Lol perhaps for us but not for whomever posted...
"So all these mods and still a bone stock m3 puts down 12.5. 406whp later it shows what the weight of a car does to performance."
unless I read...
Ive never tried launching in second. I'll give that a shot. Does it allow you to brake tq in second?
I'd like to see a time slip with a 116 even with a rwd car. That would be roughly 70whp more based on the weight of the car.
And no the Car is stock aside from Dinan Stage II. Everything else is...

Btw - there is no bone stock M3 ever that put down 400 on a mustang dyno. A standard dynometer does not load weight. An M3 on this forum with RPI scoops, BMC Filter, Evolve Tune, Dinan Midpipe, and...

Hi guys,I have no idea how we or cross threaded here. Still scratching my head on it. The 550ix time slip I posted is a bone stock 550ix with Dinan stage II software only. Ran a best of 12.40 at 110....
a 12.5 from a few weeks ago
I didn't have the smoothed run 1 and 2 saved
