^Correct. Unfortunately the F30 has some pretty severe security on the DME. We're working on it, but no release date yet.

I haven't been up there yet, but that sounds like a plan if I do.

Good info. Thanks again guys. I'll see what I can find.

I can definitely understand some showing up due to the process, but stangorang says his will not go away... which is the weird part to me.

I'll see if I get an INPA cable for testing. If its something I can fix in code, I'll get it in there... it won't be a quick fix though. Thanks for the info guys, if something lse can clear the codes...

Not sure. I know he a call into our tech support. The DSC codes were definitely weird to me as we don't flash that module. I'm not sure if the module is failing or is having issues with the reset...

BTW, you can find the automatic backup here:
Of course your path will be different based on your user name. Also, AppData is normally a hidden...

It saves your stock rom as well, so you can import it back to the AP. I just like to keep an extra copy somewhere that's easy to access in case something bad happens to my computer. Email, dropbox,...

Sorry, just now seeing this. Once you "expose" the file (in the User Tools Menu on the AP), you can see it in APM and drag and drop it to anywhere on your computer. It will be a .rom file.
We tested on everything from a 135i to a 535xi. The OTS maps are made to work well with as many situations as possible, but we're talking about an extra 900lbs here. There are sometimes cases that...
Extra weight is definitely extra load and will change a lot of the mapping. My best advice is to tune for what the car is used for the majority of the time. If it's common for you to have a lot of...

You never know anything for sure until someone puts serious time on any product.
That being said, this car has been beaten hard and hasn't had any issues. When Jake and I were there last week, we...

I think they are wrong ;)

Tuning is the same, ATP just allows a shop to create maps that they can lock. This allows experts to create maps for you and not have to worry about their work being shared... which would make their...

Boosa is the only difference and there are only a couple people with that since it isn't completed. Once done, it will be in all ATR and ATP releases.
If there are tables missing in ATR from ATP,...

There are no differences between the content in ATR and ATP.

Legal isn't my department, but I've made everyone aware of the project. If it is our IP, then it will be up to someone else to decide what to do. Whether it's my work or someone else's that's being...

Yep, Carl's main issues are caused by elevation and the DME has some pretty complex code for altitude compensations. I'm working to find all of these and have a way to remove them. I wouldn't...

So we're waaay off topic now. I'm gonna get back to my code. You guys carry on
04-19-2013, 10:46 AM
Basically just working on things that you guys have been asking for (for quite a while). These things are hard to give a time frame on, but I'll post more as things progress. Right now I'm working on...

There's always something in the works :)

LOL. I don't assume IP theft, he stated it in his first post. I also said it may not be from Cobb, but he clearly stated he was "hacking" other flash tunes for tables. There's only a few of us that...

Like I said, we have other markets with opensource software... we still sell product and lead those markets. I appreciate you guys supporting us and we'll keep pushing anything we can with the DME....

Oh, we're not the only people capable of the project, and that's what I meant by saying that I applaud the effort. We also spent a lot of time on table discovery and getting an understanding of the...
