I agree, but I spent three months monkeying around with it, so I had no choice but to give up. The 3+ is doing good so far. If it slips, I'll go to a 5 disc or see what Clutchmasters has.

Sorry, I should be more clear. Extending the TOB throw won't fix the disengagement issue: I tried the low and the high and the issue persists. AFAIK, no one else has tried both settings.

No it won't. If the TOB is fully extended and it doesn't disengage, it won't change that. It is a hydrolic system, so the travel will be the same; this will only displace fluid back in tbr reservoir,...

I returned it. I do not know their position on this. They were very helpful with troubleshooting, it just didn't help.

I went back to a single disk and it is night and day better.

Mine had the same issue in both positions. Going the high position will cause more issues including preload on the PP. Best to contact the vendor and get their commendation.
Where can I source some heat shielding, to shield the intakes from the turbines? (this should be the same foil that people use for STs, I just can't find it)
Where do ST people...
My new clutch is broken-in, CP/BOV has arrived (still in box); I'm still running the borrowed CP/BOV. With only changing the clutch, and nothing* else from the last update, I did some logs....

I have the binary you need to remove the VIN lock. It's at home in one of my archives. PM me with your email address and I'll send it your way.

I don't see any throttle closures there. I just see your timing bog, which recovers. It doesn't look like knock correction at all. I have seen similar, unexplained large timing bogs only since...

As I recall from your testing on the 2+, you ran out of fuel on your shotgun setup, and were going to try a higher setting. Were you all able to test it on the higher setting?
^ I would like a JB4 module (or just use the JB4).

People have run the 2+ on 600+ whp setups for a good while, as the clutch is rated in tq not HP (600whp singles make around 500wtq). The 3+ is rates at 671 tq which is about the max these cars make...

The Spec 3+ (as well as their stage 5) should hold these power levels just fine.
Good call, i apprexiate it. I went with the CPE and Tial combo which should arrive by the time my clutch is broken-in, after which I'll dial it in on the dyno.
Good to know. Will try and switch my order then. The only thing with venting to atmospheric is venting meth/oil in the enging bay. I could always get the recirc option.
And LOL @ "let this be a...
^Damn, where were you 24hrs ago, lol
I'm using the BMS CP because it has two meth nozzles. Going to a Tial will require switching CPs and going to a single meth nozzle.
Yes, I ordered Forge valves.
That is right. For this test I was using a borrowed CP, so I only had one emth nozzle (CM10).
I put my CP back on which has dual CM10/CM5 nozzles.
I am waiting for VTT HPFP to ship.
Since my last post I've done the following:
Purchased and installed new boost solenoids
Removed DPs and re-verified that they close fully at 5.5" Hg
Ran vacuum hose to cabin and verified...
Update, Tony gave me some advice and I connected my vacuum tester to the inlet of the solenoids and one of them slowly bleeds vacuum (at the date of 1" Hg, second). I don't know if this will be...
Regarding boost leak testing:
I am not running the stock charge pipe. I am running an aftermarket CP, with stock DVs. I've tested this system up to 30 psi today and the DVs do not leak. The test...
Thanks. The engine cover is off and I checked all vacuum lines. Since I get 25" of vacuum at the WGs, we can rule out a vacuum leak. I pressurized the entire system, also checking that one intake...
Yeah, seems like it, but I've watched them close at 6" hg. Now, I didn't watch vacuum at WOT, but using the DWG=100 setting, I should get the same result.
I'll try an alternate boost test tomorrow...
