Well that timing curve looks quite unhappy, not sure of boost values in this log though.
Try lowering boost and make sure you have a well running setup before pushing boost (and timing)
not bad for a car that takes the kids to daycare every morning :)
Yes, found this on http://www.torquestats.com/index.php?pid=mph60_100

that 2.02% slope, can't you use a slightly different part of road to get a perfect 2%?
Dzenno pointed me to vboxtools.com, great site, no more running a virtual Win7 just to read those vbox files :) of course my fastest run wasn't one of the vbox recorded ones. But I had a 3.35...

ok, good to know, now I need to stop going uphill!!! ;) and hopefully once back from a 2week trip to Normandie I will get the Cobb 1000cc injectors and the new clutch in the car so I can play the E85...

aha vboxtools.com brilliant site for a mac user, no more f-king race logic software interaction!

of course that run isn't one of the ones in my vbox, but I found one from yesterday doing 60-100mph in 3.35s going uphill. I really need to find a place with a nice little slope around...

Any recommendations for launching a mt 997tt, if I drop the clutch at lower rpms it kind of stalls/bogs, if I drop it at 5000rpms it takes off but then spinns and bounces of the rev limiter until I...
Looking at the log I did 50-100mph in 3.82s its ok for pump right?
The lat log had some throttle closures so Mitch wanted to give me an updated map, so now its running smoother and faster. It feels great and loosing the cats made it sound wicked!

There is someone over at 6speed whit a 996 that tested several IC's on his car, he did claim several $3k IC's performed worse than the 997.2's.
I have the sport but all recorded data is on the sd-card and accessible in the software on the computer back home, is the pbox different?

Love this!!! Ice on the IC's, you got to love low tech solutions like this one :)

Thanks! I'll "just" do injectors now and E85 :)

The IDP plenum, is worth the $? My engine is coming out for injectors etc, should I do this? What whp does it give on your car (93 custom tune) and what do you think it might be worth on a id1000cc...

I assume they are journalists looking for a job at Time Magazine that settles with a Car Magazine waiting for their dream job. And then they read car magazines to learn about cars, its an evil circle...

you could always go DIY custom IC's like @BigTom did on his 335i. Those are like $220 each

running two small nozzles and pure meth/ethanol makes wonders with iat's. I guess a small shot of n2o would do an even better job :)
If you go full E85 that will also cool things down a bit.
There is an ancient argument about how restrictive they are compared to $5k IC's (which they prob are) but they are better flowing than 996/997.1 (better core and end tanks).
They are great value...

I kind of agree, but everyone should drive one once, its the benchmark for a "balanced" car. If all cars handled this well the world would be a better place :)
