Sounds like maybe a warped rotor or a bent wheel. The old bushings were absorbing the excess vibration and with the new bushings, more of the vibration is transferred to the steering rack and then...

The m3 also has brand new H&R sways and a strut brace over the front towers.

Well I realized I had my dp fix connected to the wrong sensor. I had it connected to the one that failed it was still throwing an ses light. I swapped it to the good sensor and its now reading about...

These vehicles were all purchased for the track. They are not practical daily drivers besides the Audi S4, which is pretty much stock. ALL the interiors are in bad shape. They were not a priority...

Pokey I'm not sure if you're still looking for some data on the O2 sensors but here's some data from my 330xi, n52b30, msv70. This screenshot was taken at idle with the engine at operating temps.
Ouch! Good think you caught it in time!
Swap all your bushings for M bushings. Poly can be a bit harsh for daily driving. It's really preference i guess. I don't mind the stiffness, you might.

So I caved. I just placed an order for catless headers. I've been reading on other forums that the BMS DP fix works for my car. I ordered that as well. I guess I'll know for sure in a couple weeks :)...

Vinyl won't hide blemishes and if paint is chipping, you'll see the depressions from the chipped off paint.
You need to remove the blemishes before wrapping.

I was thinking about using the oem, rear O2 sensor as input. The microproccessor can then be programmed to add a small trim to allow the DME to see acceptable values. Again this is all theoretical.

This is very interesting. I was also debating this idea but with the oem O2 sensor feeding data to a microprocessor and having the microprocessor trim the output and tweak so the range is within...

Yea you turn the wheel away from the side you're working on.

Yea I think you're right about the m bushings. I'm afraid poly will be too hard for daily driving though. I'm not sure where you are but roads here suck!! Winter just beats them up :/

Ahh ok. It looked like in step 6, the rack was turned out. Just wanted to mention for others.
Love your guides btw. I'll be tackling the subframe bushings and replacing them with M bushings soon

You're suppose to keep the steering rack turned to the opposite side your working on to prevent damage to the rack.
Great DIY guide though!
I think it's more the PWM manipulation. It drops voltage under 12v. If you take a multimeter to the headlight harness, the majority of the wires are under 12v even with the engine running. For...
Ahh ok. It sounded like the kit was tapped off the headlight harness.
If your bulbs are indeed OEM, it could just be a loose connection. Try cleaning the connections and using a dielectric grease on them to promote conductivity.
Even if this was true, that is still an improper way to tap power. Every signal in the headlight harness is manipulated with a PWM signal, with the exception of oem xenon equipped vehicles. If you...
Nice man. Stripes came out pretty well!
The only thing I use plastidip for is to touch up the curb rash on my black wheels lol
