Just my anecdotal evidence: I ran a bolt-on 5.0 in my FBO M3 (filters, powerchip tune, fabspeed x-pipe with 200 cell cats and AP exhaust) from a 20kmph roll to about 120kmph and lost by a car length....

I would not remove it. I did it and did not like the sound - too tinny. I put it back on. It reduces drone and also seem to add to the "characteristic "AMG sound".

Not sure if mentioned, Canadian and certain international markets have LSD as part of the performance package plus. Mine did in Canada.

Didn't the car rags get a stock C63 P31 to trap 118mph? Also hear someone ran a 119 stock... will look around. I am sure the BS can do faster. Not sure what the times or 60 foots were on those...

What a great way to send off the M156 / M159 with a motor making ~100hp/l stock. This should shut up those who harp about this --mostly irrelevant-- metric (for street cars) for AMGs.

From what I understand the P31 powerband is more than just a factory tune? Doesn't the motor hold torque longer, which is partially the reason for more HP. I.e. this is why the torque is the same...

Agreed... we do need more and I will do it with mine once I tune it but it will not be for a while as I will upgrade other items first for track use.

Mthis - how much WHP does MHP's C63 have that traps 132mph?

For others, multiple stock P31 C63s have trapped 117 - 119mph.

Stock P31 C63's have put down from 400-425whp stock.
