Alright, so my car has been suffering from this for a few weeks now at random. I can hop in and immediately start the car without any wait and it cranks right away. Other times, I can wait with ignition on and it will crank slowly. Completely hit or miss. Seems to correlate with high humidity, the more humid the more often it takes a few more cranks to start.


Car currently has P2a2d - fuel pressure low - stored but no CEL. Code actually came up after I was playing with INPA trying to test the fuel system. Never really found what I was looking for and wasn't there before this. I've gotten the occasional 2aaf but its been a while for that.


So far i've tried datalogging it while it was starting and have gotten quick and slow cranks at different times. Under WOT on multiple different logs both fuel pumps show that they are having no problem keeping up with demand. See for self here. "

From the mod list, you are pretty much FBO. You can run Map 3 with different meth addictive setting to increase the boost curve. Like most piggy back, JB4 has to "lie" to the ecu to get increase timing, boost and etc...With the flash, JB4 only control the boost and your ecu control the rest. Therefore, you get more consistent performance. "

" Unless you are running E85 consistently, then I would stick with the pump flash. The RACE flash and E85 flash work great as long as you are running the E85 in every tank. "

You are right though when you say that you went with the twins for the low end torque. Also the reason why I don't have a big single turbo in my car plus "Sleeper mode" with the twins.

Im not sure what the person before me treated the car like and for all I know the motor may of been replaced 2 days before I bought it. For the 16k miles I have had it I always let it warm up before driving and used either brad penn or mobil1 0-40. Which I change every 3k miles. Don't know if any of that helped but it doesn't seem to have hurt in any way "

You are running the 700hp turbo now? Or the 800? Any plans on swapping those 4 turbos around on the test car to show difference in spool/power on the different options? Just curious, being a top mount I know it's easier to do than us bottom mounters lol.
Thank you so much man. I really appreciate everything everyone has said. I'm happy I could finally make this a reality and have other people enjoy my feeling as well.

For now I am running the 6465 which is rated at 800hp or so. I don't know if I will be able to swap around between the 4 turbo choices. However, I would say given this outcome running a smaller turbo should result in less lag/ faster spool timing. Of course the power will not be as strong, but the powerband would have nice area under the curve. "
