Sticky replied to the thread LMR - Highest Horsepower C7 in the world 1270rwhp!!.
" So where does the C7 Stingray horsepower record now stand? Oh, just at 1269 horsepower to the wheels. LMR (Late Model Racecraft) made a point to take the overall horsepower record from Vengeance Racing with an 1124 wheel horsepower pull on nitrous and now for good measure they raised the bar they set to 1269 at the wheels on nitrous. This is a 6-speed manual car with an upgraded clutch from McLeod.

What are the other modifications? A Vortech YSI centrifugal blower, 416 cubic inch (6.8 liters) built motor, LMR cylinder heads, LMR cam, and a nitrous system courtesy of Nitrous Express. The vehicle is tuned in house by LMR.

This war is just beginning.

I'm guessing it will get the S63TU as well then but will it have the dual clutch or automatic? A 5300+ pound all wheel drive dual clutch is going to put some serious stress on that drivetrain. That would make it the heaviest all wheel drive dual clutch car in existence I think. Audi didn't do it for the RS6/RS7 so I'm wondering if BMW will also go auto.
Yeah basically. That quarter mile time isn't too far off, although trap speed is.

I think probably in an M version (or potentially an is version) you might see improvements in that regard. After all, the 4.6/4.8is models had chassis tweaks that the regular V8 models didn't have. "

I read on this forum that the cocktail didn't stop the chatter and made it horrible to drive in cold weather. I think it was in Dzenno's thread about mt90. I was going to do the cocktail before I read that. I am going to put in MT90 gear oil but I was told that does not effect the chatter at all.

We just need a way to raise the idle to 900ish permanently.
I'm running MT90 and love it. The clutch chatters but honestly it is not bad at all with A/C off. With A/C on that is another story but even then I don't really care too much... If we had a way to permanently raise idle that would be awesome "

Yeah most definitely. With a tune wouldn't you be able to get rid of any excessive "self-preservation" tendencies? Not that maybe you'd want to, but I feel like you'd be able to skirt some of that with a flash tune wouldn't you? Also, I'd like to see some serious data logging on one of these things to see IATs, EGTs, AFRs, boost, timing, and of course power levels over maybe 20 back-to-back dyno runs or 0-150 runs. "

I think you are taking any of this as a bash. It is not that, just a little word of advice from just being around the platform for a couple years. We are not tuners, we are a hardware manufacture but we work with the tuners. Bottom line you are new to this platform, you have a lot to learn. This isn't an EVO, STI or LSX, you basically have to start over. The best tuners on this platform are few and far between because they had to do the same. We get a lot of people who talk tuning, but its no accident ALL the N54 records belong to 2-3 tuners. With no malice at all, looking forward to what you can do with it. "

" Well for example if there's a certain cab we all want I can get it from my source for $X depending on the number of bottles and then everyone paypals me with 3% for the fee and I can ship them out or in SoCal people can pick them up or whatever. "
