Just spoke to the owner of the shop that works on my car and he has a borescope. When I drop it off in two weeks i'm adding that to the list of things to be done so I guess I willk now for sure then. What colors correspond to what? I know Blue is spec, Yellow ACT, then what?
I've got a HPF stage 1, pp looks just like stock "
If you are really curious you may be able to fit a cheap borescope in the small whole where the engine/trans meet. All you need to see is the color of the pressure plate.

The stock clutch can take a lot of power when its newer. Mine went at 70k and about 460wtq.
The way you're describing the clutch makes it sound aftermarket, but clutch weight to different people is a toss up. To me the stock clutch was feather light and the 3+ is light too. I drive it 80 miles through traffic each day and its nothing. To others the Stage 3+ is "heavy". Neither of those compare to my 92 Ford Explorer which doesn't compare to my 5.0 in clutch weight even. So its basically a crapshoot trying to talk to people about clutch weights.
To be honest it doesn't really matter since you're going to drive it anyway. If it is an aftermarket clutch and stronger than stock it has to be an HPF or stage 2+ or better id think.
Yea that is true it depends on the person. To me it 100% felt stiffer than the E90 I felt, B8 S4, B6 S4, and E92 m3. "
Not sure on your experience with cutouts directly under the car but I've found them a lot less annoying out the side or at the rear.
It will only be open at the track and on the dyno. And then only if it really winds up adding any power. I like the placement as I can reach it from the bottom and didn't add much extra weight/exhaust piping with it. PS. Mike if you can ask them to tack weld the bolts it would be easier for me to get it on/off. Reaching under with a wrench and a socket is a pita. But one socket is easy. "
10's like 10.999's in NHRA approved track very possible on stock Twin MGT2260, but might hit it once or twice in a cold day. Turbo upgrade will be the logical step if want to hit 10's w/more MPH trap more consistent.
Any info on my previous question ?
"Did renntech figure out a solution for the torque limiters in the power take off unit? I know all the tuners were having trouble with it cutting power after a certain rpm to protect itself from death by torque." "
Benz was crazy fast! He wanted 10s in it, but wanted 9s I in his turbo s more so he focused on that.

Lenny give me a call I sent you some info on the DIESEL issues ok
The DIESEL issues are related to removing DPF, EGR, SCR, Meth injection melting DPF, etc. to get extra power. It's better to leave it to the makers of those products to respond on their product logic. "
" TT C6 well you can ask Sticky who was the source on what's repeated =) Anyhow, you are correct about there's no replacement for displacement power, but engine downsizing its inevitable for all auto manufactures. But a few examples: Ferrari will have a V8tt 3.8L, McLaren V8tt 3.8L, Lambo might cheat with V12 6.5l cylinder deactivation, GM 5.5 V8tt from 6.2l/7.0l, etc.

Regardless, not matter what anyone posts, you're not going to change the fact that the M157 is more powerful than the M177 and will always be able to make more power than the M177 with the same octane.
The C63 needs to be one hell of a car to make up for the disappointment of that tiny 4.0L engine.
“I woke up in the middle of the night and there were a dozen guys in my parking lot just pounding my car to smithereens”, Adora reported from an undisclosed location. “I hastily packed a few essentials and phoned the police. The men managed to disperse before the police arrived so I had them take me to a relatives house where I have been ever since. I don’t imagine I will be returning to my home anytime in the near future. In fact, I am currently making arrangements to relocate to a different city until all these ridiculous cretins calm down. I mean, they didn’t even care about this guy until he died. Really, it’s just ridiculous. My car is completely destroyed because people have the poor taste to worship some of the worst movies ever made. I mean, whatever.”
We asked Adora what she planned to do about her car. “I have already obtained a new vehicle. In fact, those schmucks sort of did me a favor since I have insurance that will replace my car in the event something like this happens. I got a newer nicer model now, very luxurious”, She giggles, “I would love to invite them to burn down my house as well. I have been considering getting an updated condo for some time.”
This either shows how much she doesn't get it, or how insane she is for thinking that's what this is about. It has nothing to do with the quality of the movies he was in - it has to do with the simple fact that you don't (or shouldn't) take something serious and make a mockery out of it for fun/ad revenue/etc... She is a hypocrite like many of the people of that hipster-generation; she is making fun of his "non-fame", yet is using it to make fame for herself. I don't understand people like this - and never will. These are the types of people that argue why a car should be able to go above the speed limit if it's illegal to do so. It's sad - they haven't lived, and pick and choose their opinions and what they stand for without having any experience or firsthand knowledge. "
