No other M-car can do this, old or new.
So not really a fair comparison.
M30?

My point exactly. So the E30 M3 DTM car uses a motor you actually find in the E30 M3. "

I agree for the most part but there are some well built LSX's or even BBC's that can rev past 8k with FI. However, to beat a high hp Lambo with RWD car, it is VERY VERY hard but not impossible IMO. Still, Lambos seems to be the best platform for high hp roll racing. "

How does this change the fact the engine is a naturally aspirated four-cylinder that comes under the hood of the E30 M3? Does the M4 DTM car use modified S55? No. Does the E30 M3 DTM car use a modified S14? Yes. "

But you are comparing a full competition racecar to a modern street car.
It is a fun comparison, but on a track where the racecar lives the streetcar will most likely lose, even to a 30 year old racecar.

Man, that is pretty crazy how identical that is. I would think my turbo would spool a tad slower given the difference in sizing. 58vs64mm inducer is pretty big difference and should definitely have noticeable difference in spool.

I will say, I am just as surprised as you guys are. This kit has definitely exceeded my expectations in every way, I am very satisfied and happy with these results. "

yeah! you'd think the FFTEC manifold would annihilate this one with the pedigree... and sure, the turbo doesn't have to be THAT well built to be better built than a PTE, but it's a fair bit larger than a 58xx? so.. i'm going to guess a combination of both things? "
