Not 100% sure on this I will have to ask.

You need a Bavarian Technic Cable to do the logging. When you are in the App - Engine > Actual Values. From here you can select the options you want to have logged.

he said built head - build head definitely flows more than enough, has been proven.

of course it can - there's nothing magical about the N54 that precludes it from being modified to rev higher than 7000rpm and still make power.

fully built motor especially, when EVERYTHING is lightened+strengthened, there's nothing keeping it at 7000-7200 unless there's a software limitation present. "

In any case, How are you going to drive the alternator? off the main drive belt?
I've had to make stuff for my own cars, moving the compressor over the alternator, and general fabbing of brackets.

you're gonna want A/C, but i digress. "

By the way, our CNC head porting are showing some AMAZING CFM gains.

Like, a lot. We're talking some major power gains just from headwork.

any of these new engines will benefit from it! "

" >7/13 mfg date N55's have a different single turbo; which appears to make more power with oem parts + tunes and so one. wondering if the block, crank, rods, pistions, VANOS, etc is all the same? if so, that would help so that different / bigger turbos can yield 600+gains? At that point what would be better about the N54? VANOS alone should be a differentiation?

Thanks to all you vendors helping push the n55 forward, us owners appreciate it "
