From what I remember, Sticky is so much richer (from all his hard work of course) than everyone else on the forum so maybe he'll buy for us poor folk .

With the weather getting nice now I'll definitely make it a point to come up there. I wanted to get the M5 on a DynoJet and I think there's one up there you guys use? I'm anticipating ~ Terry's numbers based on my experience on a mustang dyno and running 1psi less than I was supposed to as we didn't adjust the BMS piggyback by mistake.

Would like to see how much you would pull on me. This car's a beast on the highway (or the tq makes it feel more so). I think it would be really close against any of the non built supercharged E9xs. Don't know of any AA Gen 2 guys around here but an ESS 625/650 or similar would make for a fun run. "

" Wow there's just a lil bit of butthurt going on in here... If a car isn't able to compete or chooses to not compete, then by default that car and all associated to it have to suck up the results. Don't like the results? Show and run your car, set some times, get some trap speeds. If the car is all its meant to be then it should conquer all, otherwise this is all a discussion of coulda, woulda, shoulda. Good vids OP "

For sure! I'm so stupid I'm using software you helped developed to flash my car. Oh wait, is it the other way around? I'm not sure I'm too stupid to figure it out.

Sticky created the thread Volkswagen announces voluntary recall for the new 1.8T engine with the automatic transmission due to defective O-ring.
" People tend to overblow recalls these days and recalls for faulty parts or software happen far more often than most realize. The new 1.8T motor has generally received praise and rightfully so as it is a solid design based on Volkswagen's tried and true EA888 four-cylinder architecture. There is no actual fault in the motor itself with but the 1.8T engines paired to the automatic transmission are susceptible to a fluid leak from the transmission cooler.

The reason for this is due to a supplier O-ring material change. Volkswagen is offering to replace the faulty O-ring free of charge as of course they should. This is not a life or death matter as no injuries or fires have been reported but if you have the motor it is smart to get this replaced sooner rather than later to prevent any potential issues.

VOLKSWAGEN ISSUES VOLUNTARY RECALL
Apr 21, 2014

Herndon, VA (April 21, 2014) - Volkswagen considers the safety and satisfaction of its consumers and passengers as a top priority. As such, Volkswagen of America today notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that it will be issuing a voluntary safety recall affecting the automatic transmission oil cooler on certain 2014 model year Volkswagen vehicles with a 1.8T engine and torque-converter automatic transmission.
