Terry@BMS replied to the thread N55 135i dyno w/ Vargas Stage2 Turbo.
" The turbo stops making power over 6500rpm so I just stopped revving it up. We shift it around 6000rpm.

On the timing I found 6 degrees to be a pretty good MBT value for it. From 6-11 in 1 degree increments there is basically no gain all else being equal. Dropping below 6 started to drop power a bit. "

Our first set we installed on our test car has put on approximately 350+ miles without a CEL light coming on. We've made our o2 sensor bungs on our down pipes with a special design which we have been testing on our M5 and M6 for a while now with no CEL lights appearing. Now, we are testing them on the M3 and pretty confident the results should be the same as our M5/M6. That being said, there is still no 100% guarantee of a CEL not appearing. "

Ahhh that would make sense then as they used the dyno showing the stage 3 head vs. stock to show off their turbo kit on the other forarm.

I still want to know why no one will rev the block out with a built head and ST. "

AGP1328 replied to the thread My 135i build thread (lots of pics).
" Wow, great build man, I just wish I had the money to do all that to my car.

So you preferred the Cobb AP to the JB4? I just JB4'd my N54 and had a hard time deciding if I wanted to go with the Cobb AP or with the JB4. Went with the JB4 because the Cobb was about double the price in the end and everyone seems to swear by the JB4.

Have the Cobb AP on my RX8 but of course they don't come with a lot of tuning capabilities stock so it doesn't make a whole lot noticeable of a difference. "

BMW saying they want to basically build your car cheaper so they make more money is definitely not something a customer wants to hear. I've been loving all that theyre doing with the 2 and 4 series, don't start to take steps backwards! "

I have that one and it is a bit meh, it's too hard to screw the go pro tight enough to stop it flopping around.

I'm guessing the head is fine as I haven't had to do this again on the same cylinder, I would just make sure you replace them with NEW injectors or if you do end up swapping in used injectors make sure you replace both the ring seal and the decoupling element... or this will happen again. Good luck! "
