That was before they swapped out the clutch due to slipping. You definitely have to wait on it, but good grief is the area under the curve amazing.

Here's the blog entry:

What is art? An argument I’ve had at the TST office several time. I argue a stupid, giant boulder sitting outside a museum, is not art, nor was the act of bringing said rock to the museum. This is an argument I vowed to defend, standing on a bill of canvas, clay, and paint, armed with a battle axe, fighting off these liars that tell me logistics can be art. Bring it.

Then I saw this dyno sheet, and thought, “My word, that’s beautiful.” Hypocrisy, revealed. The same people that gazed in wonder at a rock, would think this is an accounting spread sheet, or a graphical representation of market projections for the 4th quarter. But this is the dyno sheet for the Crawford Performance BRZ, with its new E85 tune, and to me, it’s a masterpiece; It certainly conveys more meaning than that Mona Lisa thing. I know firsthand how well Subaru (or turbo motors in general) do with some corn syrup (I know it isn’t corn syrup), but the last car I drove was a 2006 WRX with the 2.5-liter; a good motor but before the time of direct injection. That car made 400 at the crank. The Crawford BRZ‘s results, are pretty staggering.

I've only ever had good experiences from them, and the rest of my family pretty much only buys Toyota for that reason.
I've got a recall notice on my dining room table now for a seatbelt issue on my FJ. Every interaction I've had with a Toyota dealer, either on the phone or in person, has been less than pleasant. Being a repeat client with BMW, then Porsche, compared to owning a Toyota, the difference in customer service couldn't be more apparent.

I'm glad your experience has been better than mine. Could be that my local dealers are just dicks, but there are many reports of bad customer dealings on the FJ forums as well, for things that are design flaws which Toyota will not own up to, much like the early days HPFP failures on the N54. "

right... BMWs handling of this is on par with what you might expect from... Toyota. "

" ...Annnnnd here's the cleric:

TRIPOLI, Lebanon (Reuters) - A Syrian-born Islamist cleric who taught one of the attackers accused of hacking to death an off-duty British soldier on a London street praised the attack for its "courage" and said Muslims would see it as a strike on a military target.
In an interview in Tripoli, northern Lebanon, where he has lived since being banished from Britain in 2005, Omar Bakri, founder of banned British Islamist group Al Muhajiroun, told Reuters he knew suspect Michael Abebolajo from a decade ago.
"When I saw the footage I recognized the face immediately," Bakri told Reuters. "I used to know him. A quiet man, very shy, asking lots of questions about Islam."
"What surprised me (is) the quiet man, the man who is very shy, decided to carry out an attack against a British soldier in the middle of the day in the middle of a street in the UK. In east London. It's incredible.
"When I saw that, honestly I was very surprised - standing firm, courageous, brave. Not running away. Rather, he said why he carried (it out) and he wanted the whole world to hear it."
The attack has been vociferously condemned by Muslim organizations across Britain.
Adebolajo, 28, a British-born convert from a Christian Nigerian immigrant family, went by the nickname Mujahid - warrior - after taking up Islam as a teenager in a suburb on the northeast outskirts of London.
He was filmed with his hands still covered with the blood of Afghan war veteran Lee Rigby, 25, after the attack. Clutching a butcher's knife and meat cleaver, he said the killing was revenge for British participation in wars in foreign countries. "

Exactly. The trouble is the interpretation of "innocent", and as a result who are the infidels, by those who are able to take advantage of others and recruit them into doing things like this. "

" I agree that he should get what he ordered. The guy should have taken the interior swap and then demanded the tourist delivery discount that BMW offers on the non-M cars.

I personally don't have any sympathy about an X1 on the 'ring. Tourist laps were canceled due to snow when I did my Euro delivery. I'd have been happy to go around in a Fiat. "

Suddenly, the limits for the BRZ have gone way, way up.
