• Compilation of N54 (135/335) turbo upgrade results / dynos

This compiles all of the known Upgraded Turbo Customers, specifically their dyno's if they have been posted on public forums. I am including known turbo customers even if they have not yet had the chance or inclination to dyno as of yet so that the company may still be represented as having a turbo upgrade option.

I have done as much as I could to compile all the known modifications to the cars at hand. If you know more specifics or performance characteristics about a particular setup I will gladly update it.

The list is merely a compilation.

I have listed these by Turbo Brand as opposed to tuner of choice, transmission, body style ect., as this is the most consistent.

Let me know if there is any other information you would like to see added.

      Enjoy-

Man that dyno is tiny. Ok, so who has the highest HP dyno?

honestly, great thread LM. i like that you mention racegas when the dyno had it, but as constructive criticism, you should also mention '93' or 'pumpgas' when the dyno obviously was done on that. its interesting you made it only a customer dyno thread, i believe posting the companies own dyno (if they have one) then the customer's dynos right after not only shows consistency but also if the same power is reachable (customer to company dyno). again, great idea, i think with enough input and additions from members it should serve as a really great sticky.

Great thread. I will try get a 104 Octane dyno on Saturday. Thinking if I should use Procede or flash? Its a pity I am not at the coast so we could compare apples with apples. I got a feeling the exhaust housing reaches its limitation sooner than we think.

ill do some searching again, but if the customer didnt post it, ill PM them if i can. All i did was gather all the data they put together themselves.

I left out the companies for a few reasons.
first is that the companies are using the customers dyno's to showcase, ASR is the only one that has a company car with the turbo's. I left that out for a few reasons, but i did mention it in the thread. Hopefully, if your car performs similar to their gains, than that is all that is needed

In a week or so I will ave another dyno for you to post up, a customer of mine is getting the RB turbos, and I'm taking the EPL units for myself.

does anyone have an opinion on the Helix upgrades? It seemed to put up solid numbers considering pump, no tune or meth. I'm curious since they are like 15 mins away from me.

Priced well but I don't see too many people with the Helix setup, at least not here, as the RB seems to be more popular for whatever reason.

Yeah I'm kinda on the RB bandwagon as well. Helix being close is just too convenient not to consider.

Definitely smart to consider. I would say make a thread asking about Helix vs. RB since this is more of a result thread.

Awesome thread LM! Can't wait to recieves the RBs. correct me if I am wrong but they seem to be giving the biggest proven gains on FBO+Meth.

well, data shows that they are VERY powerful on pump alone, but REALLY shine when combined with meth at a few more PSI

        Great thread!
My question is since I already have a FBO car I'm ONLY looking for turbos themselves. I also am not interested in a * price including installation * since I live in Alberta and I'm not located near any of those venders..

What are my current options for twin turbo's by them selfs and what is the price range?
Hoping to get about 450 - 460WHP without meth safely and reliably.

prices i listed are for hardware only. install should be between 9-12 hours, costing about 80-120/hour
