    • BimmerBoost member Ericbh77 building a 1000+ horsepower E92 335i auto with custom Fab Factory bottom mount twin scroll manifold + PTE 6870 with Schrick N54 cams

This is what you can call a serious N54 build. @Ericbh77 is not messing around with his E92 335i. He is going for roughly 1000 horsepower and what is making that possible is the custom Fab Factory bottom mount twin scroll turbo manifold mated to a PTE 6870.

The motor is obviously built and he is going with Schrick high lift cams:

CR 10.5cr pistons with coated domes and skirts and hardened wrist pins, Arrow rods, VAC coated rod and main bearings, ARP main, rod and head studs, Schrick 268 high lift cams, reduced deck height and thicker head gasket.
VAC built the motor and did some head work as well.

He is planning on having @CKI@Motiv tune it and additional fuel is coming from a supplemental HPFP pump.

Most high horsepower builds like this tend to be manual as the automatic will not hold the torque. Will this one? We'll see as it features upgrades although they have not been tested at this level.

This is going to be a fun build to watch come together. Enjoy the pictures below.

After talking to Eric on the phone for a bit, I’m pretty sure that this 335 is going to be- if not THE most- one of the most bonkers N54 builds we’ve yet to see. Can’t wait to see this beast in action!

I only have a 20 min edit limit so here are a few spec of the block I forgot. CR 10.5cr pistons with coated domes and skirts and hardened wrist pins, Arrow rods, VAC coated rod and main bearings, ARP main, rod and head studs, Schrick 268 high lift cams, reduced deck height and thicker head gasket.

Auto transmission from Propulsion Dynamics. Greatly considering replacing input and intermediate shaft and basket with the Nizpro military grade shaft set. FabFactory custom cross brace.

Maybe I missed it but did fab factory announce they could do a custom twin scroll bottom mount?

Nope. Custom. But you're always welcome to contact Shawn and inquire about it. Although I do like the idea of being the only person with a real bottom mount set up. Hehe

Shawn, Travis, Patrick and the guys at FabFactory are truly AMAZING guys. Their skills are unbelievable! You should check out their Facebook page and see the other work they do.

@A4RingedONE8T has been holding out on us...

I certainly can respect wanting to have something unique but hopefully he shares what building a manifold like that runs both in time and money.

Well all I can say is he's no stranger to manifold designing. I'm sure the most well known names out there are very familiar with him. Calling it a night. More on the build later.

Payam, your work work is very nice too, especially cloudnine's top mount kit. Not trying to put anyone down. Just haven't seen many spectacular bottom mount kits around at all for the N54

You will see a bunch of them soon! EFR twin scroll bottom mounts.

Ya I saw that you were making those. Seen a pic somewhere. I had discussed going the EFR route with Shawn a few years ago but decided not to due to fitment issues. Glad you overcame those.

Been stalking your build on FF's insta for quite a while now. Absolutely staggering build!

Please let us know how the PD transmission is holding up; I am very curious about it and the other reviews aren't too convincing
