    • BMW F82 M4 on 93 octane with bolt ons tops 500 whp with PTF Stage 2 OTS S55 Bootmod3 flash

      Very nice results here for a BMW F82 M4 that is running bolt on modifications on 93 octane pump gas. To be fair, meth injection is playing a role so it is not pump gas only. Regardless, topping 500 to the wheels with an OTS (off the shelf) flash is excellent.


      The car is using the PTF (Pro Tuning Freaks) Bootmod3 system as most people serious about tuning the S55 motor are. In addition to the aforementioned meth kit the car has Evolution Racewerks downpipes, an Active Autowerke mid-pipe, and air filters.

      Stage 2 OTS PTF flash:


      Notice torque is over 600 lb-ft at the wheels as well on the Dynojet in STD correction.

      RPM would be great to see on the graph but you get the idea that the torque hits hard down low.

      A very nice bolt on M4 example.

        Nice numbers, any of the GTS guys running meth in the factory water injection system? JW haven’t seen anything on that.

        Haven't seen anyone do that either but I mean GTS guys probably think their car is special and likely won't mod.

        How are they controlling the meth injection? What nozzles are they using

        Do they have a dyno plot compared against stock?

        We've done about 1/2 dozen M4 GTS cars now.
        (Literally finishing another one in Australia as I type this)

        Our normal Stage TWO+ customers are also knocking on the
        door of 500whp (uncorrected), with torque in the 530-550 range
        which contributes to better consistency over multiple runs.

        Those 600+ torque numbers are indeed interesting, and possibly
        due to the particular meth setup he's running, and/or the JB4
        modifying boost.

        There's just no way that a normal Stage 2 level file would allow for
        that sort of load request, and long term that's not going to be a
        very happy car.

        Considering they are relatively limited I'm impressed!

        Could we get some of the before/after GTS graphs?

        The one you posted is just straight Stage 2 on standard car on 91 right? Tune only? What is the difference between the red/blue pull?
