    • The best sounding factory exhaust of the BMW M turbo era? 2018 BMW F90 M5 cold start and revs with titanium S63B44T4 M Performance Exhaust system

BMW M engine notes are not what they used to be. That is obvious as the change from high revving naturally aspirated engines to turbocharged motors designed for torque down low and lower redlines changes the entire aural quality of the engines.

Not to mention turbocharged M engine notes are so muffled and sound so poor BMW actually went the route of piping in artificial engine sounds. Do not even get us started on how utterly absurd it is for a Motorsport model of a BMW to not have any bark to back up its bite.

BMW finally got the M5's engine note right again with the F90 M5. This F90 M5 features a titanium M Performance Exhaust.

Listen to the cold start and revs. It may not make your hair stand up like an S85 V10 singing at 8000 rpm but it's a huge step back in the right direction.

Sounds pretty good. It's no Mercedes V8, but it sounds pretty good.

I wonder how much this option costs!

        Worth whatever they are charging.

Titanium too? Sounds like Akrapovic is doing it for them.

Sounds a lot better then most of the cars from the turbo era. I agree though Mercedes-AMG best sounding Turbo v8.

The pops are nice, the tone of the exhaust is OK.. esp that this exhaust will more then likely carry a $7K pricetag.

Come on now...until they switched to the numb electric steering which makes BMW now equals to Audi, you can't possibly not like the old school hydraulic, RWD BMW. It was the reason I switched to bimmer but looks like now I might go back soon lol

Agreed w Zombie1, nothing beats the AMG exhaust....much deeper and angrier!!!
