• BMW N20 turbo 4 cylinder 3D animation

BMW has released this animation of the N20B20 motor. It essentially shows the motor in action in a 3D format. You get to see the internals, valves, springs, etc., all in operation. There is also a very cool shot of the manifold and the turbo being fed. Quite interesting for the engineering geeks.

I am very optimistic about this little guy, it's a wolf in sheeps clothing.

thanks for the video sticky. i wanted to see what the engine looked like, compactness, engineering, all of it, and this shows a good portion. it looks like will be a great competitor in today's 4-cyl turbo market.

I'm already feeling a tingling sensation over this motor.

Heh, my pleasure to put this stuff up. These types of threads are what remind me why I do this.

That manifold is nice...makes me wonder if the turbo comes off the manifold by the way it looks..

I think that would be too easy, and i'm sure bmw is probably going to figure out someway to keep us out...
N20 does look promising granted that the car it is going in doesn't weigh 3500lbs+
