    • Maximum PSI sets the S55 platform world record - Built motor F80 M3 with Pure Stage 2 goes 9.8@145 in the 1/4 mile

It was just a matter of time but let's all congratulate Maximum PSI on setting the overall S55 platform world record! As you likely recall TPG Tuning was the first in the 9's with a 9.987 @ 143.63 pass in the 1/4 mile.

Maximum PSI joins them now in the 9's but set a new overall platform record in the process with a 9.827 @ 145.58 pass. That makes for the quickest and fastest F80 M3 and S55 powered BMW.

They also did more than one record pass:

      The specs?

      - Build motor by #maximumpsi
      - PureTurbos Stage 2
      - Upgraded fuel systems by Fuel-It!
      - BEF/tuned by HCP
      - Flash tool by PTF Bootmod3
      - Intercooler/ intake/ PI by EOS
      - Upgraded clutches by Dodson
      - BMS JB4

After their last 10.0 pass we knew it was just a matter of time. Congratulations to Maximum PSI!

They now hold 3 different M3 platform records, right? E36, E46 and F80. Atleast in the US. Must be nice!

Haha I guess they're doing something right! Insanely humble as well, but I think if they ever started marketing like HPF did their sales would skyrocket as I'm surprised how many e46 owners still haven't heard of them.

E46M owners post 2009, are some of the most ill-informed group-think DBs in the BMW community.

Keep in mind, the new owners picked up their E46M for less than the price of a Max PSI Stage 1 kit. E46 guys who can afford MaxPSI, know about MaxPSI.

Well let's hope not exactly like HPF but I agree with you they could use a bit more of an online presence. Mike says he doesn't advertise though or whatever... kind of odd.

Car is nuts and definetly had a 9.7x maybe even a 9.6x .. Last revision I did definetly made it faster eventhough it bogged off the line! Congrats to everyone involved.

Man, it's a shame these cars don't 60' all that well. Otherwise, this would already be a 9.5 car. Great work, guys!!!
